Harlan Jenkins here, saying Howdy to all my friends and Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

You know, I’ve put off writing this note for a long time, but it’s been clear that I’m no longer able to perform well (I could, I suppose, but it would sound awful with all that coughing…). My lungs aren't so well, and my hands aren’t cooperating much these days, either.

So just a note of thanks to Kim and everyone at Higher Grounds, who have been kind and understanding, and a special thanks to all of you who came by each Sunday to enjoy the show. I loved singing and playing for you, and chatting. I loved having lunch right after playing. I enjoyed seeing all the wonderful artwork, especially Tina’s. Everyone was kind and allowed me to put up some prints, and thank you to those who took one home.

I suppose, if I get well enough, I might show up for an open mic now and then and do one song. I’d love to. And I’d appreciate your continues prayers.

I’ll leave the Harlan Jenkins Show page up for a while, and try to do better at chatting on it than I’ve been doing. Ah, well. It’s all good!! Work for Peace, be kind in everything you do, and Trust that everything will work out in the end.

I want to thank everyone for their thoughts, good wishes and prayers. It's been one hell of a month, but it can only get better!! Should be playing this Month (October), last Sunday 10:00 to NOON. At Higher Grounds!! Come in, grab some coffee and food and we can chat!!
