Make Music Upper Perk Always June 21st,
Make Music Upper Perk celebrates music and community, bringing people together! The first notes drop at 9 a.m. the final ones fade at 10 p.m.

Make Music is an international movement to celebrate the power of local music. Cities, towns, and hamlets all over the world will be making music on June 21st, on the longest day of the year. Since 2013, Make Music Upper Perk has been part of this worldwide celebration. MMUP will take place at over 20 venues in five towns throughout the Upper Perkiomen Valley. All performances are free & open to the public! Musicians of all ages and abilities are included, both amateurs and professionals. Everyone is a volunteer: organizers, musicians, site hosts, etc. For more information on how to participate, or to see the program, follow this page -- or go to ValleyArtScene.wordpress.com. Our intrepid MMUP Parade Directors have decided that this year's theme in the Upper Perk Halloween Parade will be "Music Makes Us Soar!" And as always, it's the volunteers who will make it all possible. The Parade starts at 6 p.m. on Sunday, October 25th in Red Hill, and we need candy donations (lots of candy donations!), and folks ready for an evening stroll down Main Street; all that is needed costume-wise is to put on a pair of butterfly wings, fairy wings, airplane wings, a superhero cape, or anything your imagination thinks would help you fly! You may also choose to bring your own balloon (helium) to carry in the parade, in lieu of a costume - NO CLOWN COSTUMES, PLEASE! Do remember to keep your costume family friendly, just like Make Music Upper Perk (so nothing scary). For more information, please message us or email [email protected]
