Join us at Flourish to kick off the holiday season! Our team has been dreaming up ways to give you a night out for fresh inspiration and get you in the holiday spirit! Gather your friends and family for a festive evening in the gardens and the Flourish Barn.

Visit three stations to spark your creativity: a holiday floral demonstration, create your own holiday bouquet, and stroll through the gardens by candlelight to sit by the fire pit with a cozy hot drink.

Fall is here, which means it’s time to start thinking about next spring’s flowers. 🌷

Tulips are one of my favorite signs of spring, but the work for those beautiful blooms begins months before we ever see them. Fall is the perfect time to get tulip bulbs into the ground before winter arrives.

We plant ours about 5 to 6 inches deep and fairly close together. Then comes the easiest part: waiting. There’s something so hopeful about planting a little brown bulb in the fall, knowing that months later it will become something this beautiful.

Fall-blooming anemones are such a welcome addition to the cutting garden because they begin blooming just as many summer flowers are starting to fade. Their delicate, wildflower-like blooms are beautiful in bouquets, especially when you give them a little space to shine.

A few things to know about growing them:

🌿 Plant type: Perennial
🌸 Suggested varieties: ‘Honorine Jobert’ and ‘Robustissima’
🗓️ Bloom time: Early September–early October
✂️ Cutting tip: Cut when the flowers are completely open. They should last about 5–7 days in a vase.

Plant these perennials in fall or spring, water regularly while they become established, and enjoy having something beautiful to cut from the garden as the seasons begin to change. 🌸

Choose a mason jar for $18 or a floral bucket for $50, then mosey around the garden and fill it with the flowers you love. It’s such a fun way to spend a little time in the garden—and you get to take home something beautiful.

There is something so special about experiencing Italy with a group of women who love beauty, flowers, good food and meaningful connection.

We toured breathtaking gardens, cooked and ate with locals, cut flowers in the Tuscan hills, created floral arrangements, wandered through charming shops and made friendships and memories we will always treasure.

It was everything we hoped it would be and more, and we are going again next spring! The dates are April 19-24, 2027. 🇮🇹🌸
