I made a 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 to my wedding retirement for this one, and I’m so glad I did.

Kate Isbell Lundgren and Mason couldn’t have asked for a more 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥 day in Prairie du Chien. The weather was perfect, the people were great, and the whole day had such an easygoing feel. And can we take a moment to talk about how AMAZING Kate looked?! 😍 𝘚𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘭𝘺, such a gorgeous bride.

Congratulations, Kate + Mason 🤎

Every once in a while, you just get 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘭𝘶𝘤𝘬𝘺 ✨

After a string of 90+ degree days, the weather was hot and muggy, but the air was 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘭𝘺 still, the water was calm, and the pond became a 𝐦𝐢𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐫, reflecting the whole scene back like a painting.

Branding photos at one of my absolute favorite spots 🖤

If you haven’t been to The Novel Bloom in Savanna yet… 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨?! It’s seriously the dreamiest place ever, and just 𝑳𝑶𝑶𝑲 at these espresso martinis! 😍

🌸 The Novel Bloom is always keeping things real… and if you’ve ever seen the behind-the-scenes, you know they’re keeping it fun too.

Every month brings a new lineup of creative drink specials, so there’s always a reason to stop in and see what they’ve come up with next. If you haven’t checked it out yet, consider this your sign! 🌸

Social media feels so saturated. I don't know about you, but I'm being constantly bombarded with ads. Sometimes I get so mad, I scroll just to remove every ad from my feed. 🤭 And in the middle of all the noise, here I am trying to be seen, yet not wanting to be yet another page trying to sell you something. Ultimately I know thats kind of the point, but you know what I mean!

Social media is such a love hate relationship.

And on top of it, AI content is becoming so normal, that its hard to tell whats even real.

So if you follow me, and manage to see some of my posts, I hope you know that a real business owner is on the other side trying to remind you about how rad The Novel Bloom is, while also not selling you anything😂

BUT, if you are into being sold things, check out the comments!

How 𝐥𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐲 is Bellevue to still have a water ski team?

Bellevue is home to Ski Bellevue, one of only a handful of water ski show teams in Iowa and the 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘰𝘯𝘦 performing on the Mississippi River.

Not every town still has a tradition like this. And that’s what makes it so 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 to see.

The love in this home says 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨… Sawyer Mae hit the parent jackpot 💕

From their wedding day to maternity photos, and now their beautiful baby girl. I love getting to capture people through all the 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 of their lives 🥹

I was on “𝘴𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭” for this session. Kelli 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐝 of maternity photos in the snow… and not only did we get it, we got it while it was 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 snowing.

Watching a family prepare to welcome a new baby is always special, but this one felt 𝘦𝘹𝘵𝘳𝘢 magical with the snow falling around us. She looked beautiful, and I couldn’t be happier for their new little addition to their already adorable family.

𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒍𝒚, I love when you tag me in your posts. Even better when it’s the outrageous photos I sent you from your session and you actually make them public 😝

I’m not just there to photograph the pretty parts of your business, I’m there to capture who you are 𝘣𝘦𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘭. Especially the small-town female business owner with a 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐛𝐢𝐠 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐬. And let’s be honest… there has to be a little humor in the chaos. Because that’s what people connect with.

Next time you’re in Savanna, do yourself a favor and pop into The Novel Bloom 🌸

A love already bigger than the open plains 🤎🌾

The calm before the most beautiful adventure. Taylor has the prettiest western (𝘴𝘰𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦) mama glow as they count down the days to meet their baby girl.

This sweet baby has been 𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘥 of and is already 𝒔𝒐 loved.
