I was on “𝘴𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭” for this session. Kelli 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐝 of maternity photos in the snow… and not only did we get it, we got it while it was 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 snowing.

Watching a family prepare to welcome a new baby is always special, but this one felt 𝘦𝘹𝘵𝘳𝘢 magical with the snow falling around us. She looked beautiful, and I couldn’t be happier for their new little addition to their already adorable family.

Christine has been showing up with 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵, and 𝒔𝒐 𝒎𝒖𝒄𝒉 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 for every single person who sits in her chair. In our little river town, Hott Headz isn’t just a salon, it’s a place where you leave feeling confident+ glowing inside and out.

Did you know I have a 𝘳𝘦𝘨𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘳 𝘫𝘰𝘣? 🙃

I’ve been a 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 for almost 10 years now. While I wear a lot of hats (marketing, media, photo, video, hype girl… 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘪𝘵), I’m usually the one hiding behind the camera.

This week was a little different. I’ve been busy in front of it.

I was invited to speak with students at the Career Exploration Fest at the Jo Daviess Carroll CTE Academy about media + marketing. I also got to hop on Quad Cities Live to talk about Savanna. Just 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥 people ask me to do these kinds of things, and trust me enough to teach future generations or be on live TV.

Anyway, I won’t be taking up public speaking or life in front of the camera anytime soon. See you back behind it.

This weekend’s Christmas Minis were 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠. I was sure the alpacas would steal the spotlight, but the families (𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘦𝘴!) reminded me why I love capturing these moments so much.

Perched high on the bluff since 1961, Timmerman's Supper Club has been a Dubuque-area favorite for generations. I got the opportunity to completely 𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐰𝐞𝐛𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞 and capture 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐬 for their marketing and advertising.
