From a young age, I have always wanted to be a "Wedding Planner." I'm an organizational nut, have such a burning love to watch two people say "I do" and their families bare witness to the start of their new forever. After helping coordinate several friends weddings, and after much coaxing and praise from them, I realized it was the right time to do this professionally. I decided on the name Bushel

& A Peck one day sitting on my living room couch with my closest friends. My sister in law has purchased a little pillow for me for Christmas that said "I love you, a bushel and a peck". She knew it was a song that my Mom sang to my brother and I when we were little and it is snow a song that I sing to my son. We were discussing plans for my business and what I wanted to accomplish, but that I hadn't come up with a name yet. I happened to glance up at my shelf where this pillow sits, and it just felt perfect. Bushel & A Peck is a name that holds so much unconditional love from when I was little, and the love that i'm filled with while assisting you on your events.

Her ability to balance her roles as an amazing wife, devoted mom, and loyal friend only further highlights her incredible character. Kathy is the kind of person who inspires those around her simply by being herself!

Kathy’s favorite thing about working a wedding is getting to adjust the bride’s train, making sure her dress is laying perfectly before she walks down the aisle!

Kathy’s least favorite part about weddings is cleaning up and watching the client’s wedding go into boxes at the end of the night!

Becky is the powerhouse behind Bushel & A Peck, serving as our General Manager, one of our lead floral designers, and a top event coordinator. With unmatched grit and grace, she leads with confidence and calm, even in the most high-pressure moments. Her attention to detail and unwavering patience make her the backbone of our team—someone we all rely on to stay level-headed and focused. Becky is known for creating the most stunning bouquets, each one a reflection of her artistic eye and love for beauty. She’s unapologetically herself, bringing energy, authenticity, and a whole lot of fun to everything she does. We’re endlessly grateful for her strength, creativity, and the heart she pours into every petal and plan. When Becky is around, you can bet your bottom dollar that the throwback tunes are bumping and everyone is laughing.

Becky’s least favorite thing about weddings is the taking things back to the shop after a long coordination event.

✨Meet Leah ✨

Leah is a seasoned veteran here at Bushel & A Peck and wears many, many hats! She is a skilled and talented floral designer that may or may not create the most stunning arbor pieces that will make your jaw drop! She is the organizational guru behind so many of our systems and policies and she has recently been promoted to our Social Media Manager!

Leah wears many hats here at Bushel & a Peck, but she does it so well, flawlessly and with a smile and wit that keeps you coming back for more! Leah is the strength in our shop when the workload looks overwhelming, she pulls out her famous line “it’ll all get done” - and she sees it through! She’s the first to crack a joke and sure to keep everyone singing in the shop!

Leah’s favorite thing about weddings is learning new things and seeing each client’s unique vision come to life!

Leah’s least favorite thing about weddings is cleaning cylinders vases after events.

Ashley is an unwavering source of support for her friends and family, always there with a listening ear or helping hand. Her authenticity and creativity set her apart, as she embraces her true self while continuously bringing fresh ideas and perspectives to everything she touches.

Ashley’s favorite part about weddings is working with the flowers and creating memories with resin! Ashley recently started learning all things resin and took the bull by the horns in the shop!

Ashley’s least favorite part about weddings is leaving at the end of the night.

Ashley, you have no idea how much we admire you. You are such a beautiful soul, and your strength is truly inspirational. The way you handle life with such grace and resilience is something that moves everyone around you. You deserve all the happiness in the world, and always remember how amazing you are! No matter what the task or challenge is, she’s always ready to lend a hand with a smile. Whether it’s making your day brighter, ensuring your family feels loved, or jumping in to help with something that wasn’t even asked of her, she’s always there. Her heart of pure gold is just the beginning of why we all adore her so much. Rebecca’s generosity and warmth radiate in everything she does, making her an irreplaceable presence not only in the shop, but in our lives!

Rebecca’s favorite things about working in the shop and working weddings is that she cries from laughter with the whole crew and she loves watching father daughter dances!

Rebecca’s least favorite part about weddings is when the night comes to an end and we have to clean up after such a long day of having fun and running around!

Liz has been with us for 2 seasons and this will be her third with us! She is always willing to complete any task at hand, no matter the challenge. She has a remarkable ability to fill in wherever needed, whether it’s taking on extra responsibilities or stepping into a role outside her usual scope. Liz will run wherever she’s needed, eager to support her team and ensure everything runs smoothly. Her adaptability allows her to fill in seamlessly, effortlessly integrating into any situation and providing invaluable help without missing a beat. Whether it is sorting through hundreds of candles, assisting in chandelier assembly, placing napkins, draping fabric, and everything in between, she does it all with a smile.

Liz’s favorite thing about weddings is seeing our clients reactions to our hard work.

Liz’s least favorite part about weddings is the occasional ladder.

Liz, your “get it done” mindset is truly what makes wedding days run so smoothly. Whether it’s taking on any task, filling in where needed, or just keeping things on track, you do it all with a smile that makes everyone feel at ease. Her can-do attitude ensures that no matter the challenge, she’ll go above and beyond to make sure your day runs smoothly and flawlessly. Even when she is holding her breath, arranging babies breathe in the trenches of the 1st trimester! With Paige, you can always count on perfection, no matter the task at hand.
