Mo' Flavorz, is a full-time "catering kitchen" that is used to prepare catered meals for events of sorts. We also offer the option for clients and customers to take advantage of personalized specialty pickup/takeout options via preorder. Some of those requests include: dinner/supper, homestyle desserts, meal prep, potluck contributions, platters, or even just a favorite dish (and more).

Whew… my heart is full.

Thank you. Truly, thank you for every kind word, every message, every DM, every comment, and every request that came from this past weekend’s wedding and a transparent moment shared on last week. You may not believe me when I say this, but your love and support brought me to tears and reminded me why I started this journey in the first place. Even while being stern and running a tight ship in full accountability and professionalism, I still manage to execute accordingly.

Mo’ Flavorz has always been more than food for me, it’s my passion, my creative outlet, my vision coming alive through taste and presentation. I started with nothing but faith, grit, and a dream, and somehow turned what once was a hobby into a working reality. But to be honest, this year has been heavy. What once felt like pure passion began to feel like weight because of everything I carry personally and in my personal life. And while those who know me know I’m no quitter and know the story of my past, this season pushed me close to the edge.

This business…my baby, my dream, my calling has had been tested in ways I didn’t see coming from the personal side. At times, it hurt so deeply I wondered if I could keep going. But even through the tears, I kept showing up. I kept smiling, laughing, loving, and giving my all because quitting has never been in me.

So when I say your encouragement, your prayers, your scriptures, and your words of life mean everything to me, I mean that from the depths of my soul. You’ve given me fuel when I was running on empty, and I do not take it for granted.

If you’re reading this, know that I’ve always promised transparency, and I’ll keep it that way. Please continue to pray for my peace, my clarity, and my strength. I believe with everything in me that God will continue to carry me through.

Meet “Mo”

Mo, also known as Monique has a unique excitement for preparing meals that others get to enjoy. Cooking has always been an outlet for her as she finds it to be one of her many passions. Although cooking is major on both her mom's and dad's side of the family, Monique is self taught. And in all honesty, she didn't start cooking until being on her own, nor did she ever watch her mother. Besides maybe one family secret recipe, Monique has quite a few of her own as well as some very important staples that help to "make a meal." That being said, here is a fun fact: Any meal item that Monique has a "secret" recipe for, she has a back-up recipe to share. 😉 She can't give all of her goods for the free, right? But it's all good, she is working on a recipe book that gives even her secret staples and ingredients. Monique has catered many events, prepared meals for businesses, and even just for fun and entertaining. While, it's been a long time coming that she finally gave in to the request of many, she decided to take a leap in preparation of the "ultimate" future goal. This is only the beginning.

Get ready for just a lil “MO’ FLAVORZ.”
