Mo' Flavorz, is a full-time "catering kitchen" that is used to prepare catered meals for events of sorts. We also offer the option for clients and customers to take advantage of personalized specialty pickup/takeout options via preorder. Some of those requests include: dinner/supper, homestyle desserts, meal prep, potluck contributions, platters, or even just a favorite dish (and more).

THANK YOU.💛

From the bottom of my heart… thank you to everyone who took a moment to celebrate me for my 40th. The calls, texts, posts, comments, prayers, encouragement, laughs, love, and even the surprises, I truly felt it all.

Even while the struggle may be real, this birthday hit different; it was a reflection of how far I’ve come, and every single message reminded me that I’m surrounded by some real ones. Whether you showed love publicly or privately, I appreciate you more than you know.

Y’all reminded me that even in the midst of life’s challenges, I am seen, I am covered, and I am loved.

Thank you for making 40 feel like everything it should be and more.

Let’s keep rising. Let’s keep pouring. Let’s keep loving, intentionally.

40. Today. Whew. I made it.

Not without some bruises. Not without some tears. Not without wondering if I even would.

But grace carried me. Faith sustained me. And purpose? Purpose pushed me.

This birthday hits different. It’s not just a milestone, it’s a mirror. Reflecting everything I’ve survived, endured, accomplished, and risen from. From the girl who came from lack… to the woman who learned to lack nothing because God is who He says He is.

I’ve had to bury versions of myself that were never coming back. I’ve had to rise when I didn’t feel strong. I’ve loved people who left me empty. I’ve poured even when I was dry. But one thing about it… I never gave up.

So if you see me smiling today, know it’s earned. If I’m celebrating, it’s because I deserve this moment. And if you’re reading this, thank you. Because somewhere along the way, you’ve been part of this journey.

40 is about legacy. About alignment. About honoring the call even when it’s heavy like today. It’s about no longer waiting to be celebrated or seen. It’s knowing that I am enough right now, as I am.

I’ve learned not to waste time trying to understand people. I simply take things as they come. But one lesson that keeps showing up is how quick some folks are to get “in their feelings” or claim you’re acting funny, all while being completely unaware of the storms you’re silently navigating.

Truth is, I’ve been carrying some of the heaviest baggage of my life; what I’m facing now has surpassed even the darkest parts of my past, and that says a lot.

Before you jump to conclusions about someone “switching up,” ask yourself: did you take the time to reach out? Did you check in? Did you try to understand what might have changed in their world or in their mind? Or why they have strayed away from their norm/routine? There are actually some times that come about that aren’t intentional, but for the moment, or to aid during such circumstances.

People like this help to make the load lighter and easier to walk away. If you’re still stuck in that surface-level mindset, you’ve earned your seat exactly where you are. Some shifts are survival, not spite.

I’m grateful for the very few that SAW me, FELT me and stepped up without raising questions but in concern. Because of these few, in some areas, I have not a missed a beat. Thank you!

For the first time in a long time… Mo’ is finally going on VACATION! 🙌🏾 After months of pouring into others, it’s time to pour back into myself. Meet “Mo”

Mo, also known as Monique has a unique excitement for preparing meals that others get to enjoy. Cooking has always been an outlet for her as she finds it to be one of her many passions. Although cooking is major on both her mom's and dad's side of the family, Monique is self taught. And in all honesty, she didn't start cooking until being on her own, nor did she ever watch her mother. Besides maybe one family secret recipe, Monique has quite a few of her own as well as some very important staples that help to "make a meal." That being said, here is a fun fact: Any meal item that Monique has a "secret" recipe for, she has a back-up recipe to share. 😉 She can't give all of her goods for the free, right? But it's all good, she is working on a recipe book that gives even her secret staples and ingredients. Monique has catered many events, prepared meals for businesses, and even just for fun and entertaining. While, it's been a long time coming that she finally gave in to the request of many, she decided to take a leap in preparation of the "ultimate" future goal. This is only the beginning.

Get ready for just a lil “MO’ FLAVORZ.”
