One of the special touches included in our “Mermaid Experience Birthday Packages” is a customized invitation design created specifically for your birthday mermaid or merman!

Each invitation is personalized with your child’s photo, party details, and theme, then delivered as a digital file for easy sharing. Printed keepsake versions are also available. Every design is reviewed and approved by the family before final delivery to ensure it’s exactly what they envisioned.

𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐝, 𝐄𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐡𝐬’ 𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐞 𝐭𝐮𝐛𝐞𝐬… 🧜‍♀️✨

and spent 2½ intense days pushing themselves beyond their comfort zones at the Abilene YMCA Lifeguarding Course.

Mermaids Cassy Jo and Leann Marie Musick successfully completed professional Red Cross lifeguard training under the instruction of Rebecca and Alex, gaining invaluable knowledge in water safety, emergency response, CPR, AED use, first aid, victim recognition, and aquatic rescue techniques.

While our mission has always been to create magical experiences and inspire a love for the water, this training reinforces something even more important: safety. As professional mermaids/mermen, we spend countless hours in and around the water with children, families, and communities. We believe that being a mermaid is about more than entertaining—it’s about being a responsible steward of the aquatic world and ensuring every interaction is as safe as it is magical.

The course challenged Cassy and Leann physically, mentally, and emotionally. There were moments of exhaustion, muscle fatigue, and determination, but every challenge reminded them why continuing education matters. They walked away stronger, more knowledgeable, and even more prepared to serve the families who trust us with their special moments.

To Rebecca and Alex, thank you for your professionalism, encouragement, and dedication throughout the course. Your instruction helped transform a demanding weekend into an empowering achievement.
