Our Enchanted Depths’ merteam gathered to strengthen our skills and earn our SSI mermaid certifications. Every kick, every breath, every careful practice isn’t just training—it’s a reclaiming of wonder, confidence, and the quiet power that lives beneath the surface.

This work is about more than technique. It’s about patience with yourself when the tail or monofin won’t cooperate, courage when fear rises, and joy in discovering what your body and spirit are capable of. Watching our team go from focused training to moving with the grace and confidence of professional mermaids/mermen is a reminder that growth doesn’t happen in a moment—it happens in every choice to show up, again and again.

And the most magical part?

Starting Summer 2026, anyone ready to step into this world can join us. You’ll experience the same thrill, the same skill-building, the same transformation—training to become your own kind of mermaid/merman, fully alive in the water, fully present in your own magic. 🌊💙

This is what preparation truly looks like. Our Spring 2026, is not a soft opening. It is a training of sharpening with determination consisting of…

👑 No crowns.
🐚 No seashells.
🌊 No shimmering tides.

Just commitment… and grit beneath the ocean magic.

Before we ever slip into a tail, we strengthen the body that carries it.
Before we ever gather little mermaids/mermen around us, we condition the muscles that keep them safe. Before we ever promise ocean magic, we build the endurance that allows it to feel effortless.

What we do may look whimsical.
And it is! But it is also; athletic, disciplined, structured, intentional.
Our pod trains not only as performers, but as protectors of the sea. 🪸🔱🪸

Within our team are lifeguard certifications, CPR and First Aid training, a registered nurse’s clinical expertise, and the steady composure shaped by military service. We pursue professional mermaiding certifications through SSI/PADI with continued education — because even mermaids/mermen must remain students of their craft.

Breath control is practiced like the tide rolling in and out. Rescue skills are drilled until they are instinct. Strength is built scale by scale. Communication is refined until it flows as seamlessly as water itself.

Because when families invite us into their most treasured celebrations, they are not simply inviting enchantment — they are entrusting us with what matters most.

And this relaunch… it is more than seasonal. It is personal. It is the rising of a CEO, Leann Marie Musick, who has weathered her own currents and storms — who chose healing over hiding, growth over bitterness, discipline over despair.

And she does not rise alone. She rises with her pod (Cassy Jo, Ben, and Tesa Horton). Together, we are building something stronger than before.

Our Summer 2026 relaunch will not be built on aesthetics alone . It will be built on resilience, on safety, on credentials, on continued growth. On a standard we hold ourselves to long before the music starts and the tails shimmer.

We are not drifting back quietly. We are rising — steady, refined, and unshaken. And as we prepare, we invite our community to swim closely with us.

Our Enchanted Depths’ team believes in more than just magic — we believe in awareness, education, and respect for the ocean and all her creatures. 🐚💙 Watching Ocean Ramsey glide with these misunderstood apex predators reminds us why we do what we do: to spark wonder and deepen love for our blue planet.

🌊 Update from Enchanted Depths 🌊

To all of our beloved sea stars and ocean dreamers, 💫🦀

As the currents shift, Enchanted Depths will be taking a brief pause as we enter 2025 to focus on calmer waters. Our CEO has recently been diagnosed with Hashimoto’s (an autoimmune disease that attacks the thyroid gland) and is embarking on a healing journey of her own. This time of rest will allow us to reflect, recharge, and prepare for an even more magical return when the time is right.

While we won’t be hosting events or making big splashes during this time of rest, the magic of mermaiding is far from gone.
