That 2 hundy 💵 free shipping threshold has a hold on me ☠️. What if after all that, I forget something? Am I being too wild with what I've chosen? What if I wait too long and something I want sells out? My god, what if my cart clears out on me? 🫠. Seed commitment issues are very real right now 😆

As long as everything pans out, these workhorse dahlia beauties will be added to Kettle Blooms | Wisconsin Cut Flowers next year! Thank you to Chelsey Kasten | Wisconsin Flower Farm for these gorgeous specimens. She's a local grower and provides super high quality tubers. I also will be acquiring from a few other amazing folks 🤞🏻 if luck is on my side! Marryn Mathis Marilee Behling to name a few. Looking to add AC Twisp, Maks Lori Jean and Marryn's Mamwo and Popo, maybe lilac time 🤔. I'll reign it in eventually here, the list in actuality is much longer (did I say Lileah Caramel Rose 🤤?) but that one might be like winning the lottery 🤪.

What's on your dahlia wishlist?

Good news, bad news time.

Good news - we are very excited to be supplying dear friends of ours with abstract mini gardens in delightful, table-ready bowl arrangements for their baby shower this weekend. We are also supplying some of our ET sweethearts buckets of primetime local flowers for a homecoming bouquet-making party, in addition to a sweet little bouquet for another hoco love from another city! The love for this little flower business has been so endearing and we are just so happy to have been embraced so lovingly.

Bad news- not really bad news but all our best ready-to-go blooms will be used up for the weekend so we cannot set-up the flower stand this weekend (09/26-27)

Also good news - we do have enough interest in pre-orders that we will be moving some of our dahlia plants indoors to extend the growing season by a couple weeks. That means we hope to squeeze out two more weeks out of this garden who has gifted us with so many treasures. Please feel free to reach out and inquire about events, establishment, or individual bouquet pre-orders and local delivery (through October) we will have good crop to deliver upon orders starting Monday 09/28.

Don't mind me as I play princess while assembling beautiful bouquets for a gaggle of gorgeous hoco girlies ✨💐 this generation seems to know a thing or two about whimsy and I am so here for it 👏👏!

Dried dahlias and roses and fresh fairytale pumpkins…oh my 😍🍁✨

I’m afraid V and I may have unlocked a new favorite creative outlet. 🎃🌸

These little decorative pumpkins are left completely uncut, then adorned with dried flowers grown, gathered, dried and assembled with love by yours truly. 🫶 Each one is a little different, a little whimsical and very much inspired by what’s growing (or has grown!) around us.

Because the pumpkins remain intact, they should last beautifully through the fall season while the dried florals can be enjoyed even longer.

We think they’d make the sweetest host gifts, little works of table art, or simply a fun way to bring a bit of nature-inspired whimsy inside as we head into fall. 🍂

And honestly…we’re having way too much fun making them. 😆

Message us if you’d like info on available pumpkins or have a custom request in mind. ✨
