Good Morning citizens of Eagle Lake. I just wanted to let everyone know that my flower shop isn't closed. The reason that I'm not there is because I'm subbing everyday at Rice Junior High. I can still take orders and have the arrangement delivered. I know the last several years have been tough. I'm doing my best to keep the flower shop open during a time when people are struggling to pay bills and put food on the table. I am trying to do the same. Together we will make it. Hey everyone. I have had several people contacte to see if we're doing mums and the answer is yes we are. I continue to substitute at our local schools but am getting to the shop at 4 so I can meet with students and get their orders taken.
We continue to sell supplies as well if you want to make your own.

I was visiting with Mrs. Balas last evening and the subject of Christmas poinsettias was brought up. She wanted me to see the ones that were still in full bloom she bought from me this last year. Even though the holiday is over good quality will let you enjoy them so much longer. Thank you Mrs. Linda for your business throughout the years.

Hey guys I'm just wanting to let everyone know that the shop is not closed and there are no plans for it to close anytime soon.
COVID has effected us all and the flower shop is no exception. Eagle Lake has always had a hard time supporting its local business and with the pandemic I understand that many of you have had to choose between rent, food and utilities. Flowers are not a top priority during difficult times. With this being said I have had to continue to pay my bills as well. Therefore I chose to start substituting in our school district. I'm am very grateful for this opportunity to help put food on my table and allow me to keep the shop open. I am still filling the flower orders when I get out at 3:30. I also have other people that can help me deliver during the day. The reception isn't the best at the school but if you need to reach me please text me or leave a message at 979-733-6132. I'm checking my phone through out the day. I want to continue the legacy that was left to me and with your patience we can weather the storm.

I just want to tell all of the citizens of Eagle Lake thank you. This has been a tough year for everyone and I know that money has been tight. Although homecoming wasn't as big as it usually is, I have been blessed beyond measure. I know many businesses have closed, people have lost their jobs and been forced to leave their homes because they couldn't pay the bills. Shopping local is very important and I THANK YOU for choosing my store for your homecoming supplies and mums. I enjoy my small town and I know Mrs. Pansy Burger would be proud of her shop if she were alive today. I look forward to a happier 2021. May God continue to bless each one of you.
