Pedal Press & Divine Sundays are excited to share that we received a grant through the City of Chico Arts Commission for a Day of the Dead Art Project!

Colores de Unidad (Colors of Unity) will bring together works from 10 local artists of different backgrounds to explore death. The goal is to showcase a diverse range of perspectives on how we honor those who have passed and how we find beauty in the transition between life and memory.

Artists will be expected to have complete or nearly complete works to showcase at the Chico Day of the Dead Festival on Nov 1st, where they will also have complimentary 10x10 booths to sell their art!

After the festival all works will be showcased at monca from Nov 5-15 where a reception will take place (time and date tbd).

We are excited to share more information as applications open. The 4th Annual Happy Hippie Festival was the first tome we decided to close down Market Pl for an event and it was great! We were able to invite an extra 20 vendors and bring in some of our favorites like Savor Ice Cream โ€” Chico, CA BAPAโ€™S Market and Daycamp Coffee ๐Ÿฆโ˜•๏ธ๐Ÿงบ

We are always so grateful to the eventโ€™s and marketing team at The Barn at Meriam Park for all of their hard work, and for these amazing drone photos!

Event Details:
๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ This event is FREE to attend and park!!
๐Ÿšซ Stree Closures on Market Pl will be from 12-7pm to account for setup and tear down.
๐Ÿฅต As we are expecting a peak of 95 degrees, there will be free water in ice chests along Market Pl & next to the tap trailer at the barn.
