Busy Week Coming Up At The Maze. 212 W. Evergreen Durant, Ok.
Tuesday 10-14: Native American Ceramic Pendant class 2-5 all ages, Texoma Artisan and Craftsman Guild meeting at 6pm. Anyone interested in joining the group, please attend the meeting. The Maze will be providing door prize of novelty Tshirt of your choice. They are from small-5x so yes, we have one that will fit.
Wednesday 10-15 Shop is closed. Christy and I will be traveling to Coalgate to paint Christmas tree ornaments with the Choctaw Srs at their beautiful Center.
Thursday 10-16 is Kids Movie Night, we will be watching "Coraline", enjoying a snack and making snow globes. Cost is $15 everything is furnished.
Friday we are hosting our first Girls Night Out. Bring your girl friends and enjoy meeting and socializing with others. Halloween theme Bisque that is ready to paint or glaze is abundant at the Maze. You choose your project and finish you want. We also have greenware and many other selections from ceramic bisque from jewelry to Christmas trees, your options are limitless.
Saturdays are open workshop days with walk-Ins always welcome. Bring the kids this is a great way to explore their creativity Thank you guys for your support, it allows me to pay the mortgage and bills on this 97 yr old building I saved from the wrecking ball in 2023 with a lot of help from street people, Main Street, the Chamber of Commerce, and Vision Bank and my dear sweet sister, Joyce Prock. My Mom, Doylene Hubbard, would be proud to see that arts and crafts and creativity is alive and well in Durant. She was one of the most creative people Durant had the opportunity to host. Julia Knight, my mentor would also be proud that I'm passing on the skills she spent hours teaching me. Again I thank you guys for letting me enjoy 65 yrs of pouring molds, cleaning greenware, firing the kiln mixing slip, hand building with clay. This is what I love to do.
