While you definitely still need a REAL photographer for your headshots and family photos, AI sure is fun for stuff like this! But an AI headshot or portrait is so disingenuous, and just icky on so many levels. It doesn't look like you, it's not you, you didn't stand in front of that building or go on that boat, that AI headshot isn't creating trust between you and your potential customers, yes people can tell it's fake, and for your family portraits, you deserve someone to capture your REAL memories! Come see me! The REAL me, not the Barbie me! The Barbie me has a very weird and completely non-functional stand of some sort. Is it a light stand? A tripod? A coat rack? I wouldn't trust her to photography anything.

Durango Creative District is inviting local artists to participate in our Portrait Lotto Art Show! This is a unique, community-oriented exhibition where artists will face the luck of the draw and be paired with other artists.

How it works:

✨ Artists register // linked in our bio
(limit:50)
✨ Each artist is assigned another artist to create their portrait.. then are assigned to the next artist who will do theirs.
✨each applicant is then expected to meet with both people they were assigned to chat, share work, take photos, inspire each other etc.
✨ Create a portrait in your unique style!
✨ All works will be showcased in a special exhibition celebrating our vibrant community.
