August Reserve took a few turns before it found its final form.

The palette is deeper this month—antique hydrangea, anemones, orchids, soft grasses and trailing greens—but the real story is how much I decided *not* to use.

A design built on the principles of softness, structure, and movement.

White roses and hydrangea are layered with blue delphinium, calla lilies, and fresh green accents, creating a composition that feels refined without being overly formal. Trailing amaranth and sculptural branches bring an element of movement and height. Clean, natural, and quietly sophisticated.

A closer look at one of our favorite blooms. This double pink Japanese ranunculus has incredible depth, with layers of soft blush petals giving way to deeper raspberry tones at the center.

Its scale, texture, and detail make it striking even on its own—a beautiful example of how the right stem needs very little embellishment.

Blooms of Dunwoody is looking for an experienced floral designer to join our boutique studio.

We’re seeking someone with strong design skills, excellent flower knowledge, and an eye for refined, garden-inspired florals. Our work emphasizes quality over quantity, thoughtful design, and exceptional customer experience.

This position may be full-time, part-time, or freelance for the right person.

You’ll be a great fit if you:
• Have professional floral design experience
• Work efficiently without sacrificing quality
• Enjoy creating elevated everyday flowers and sympathy work
• Are dependable, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team member
• Are comfortable helping with customers and phones when needed
