Duluth’s FourthFest Returns to Bayfront Festival Park for America’s 250th Birthday Celebration

DULUTH, MN — Celebrate Independence Day in a big way as FourthFest returns to Bayfront Festival Park on Saturday, July 4th, for a full day of live music, food, family fun, patriotism, and what organizers believe will be the largest and most spectacular fireworks display ever presented on Duluth’s waterfront.
This annual Northland tradition will commemorate America’s 250th Birthday with entertainment throughout the day featuring top local and regional acts, great food, crafts, and activities for all ages.
Gates open at Noon, with live entertainment beginning at 12:30 PM.

ENTERTAINMENT SCHEDULE

“Celebrating America’s 250th Birthday on the shores of Lake Superior makes this year’s FourthFest especially meaningful,” said Tracy Lundeen of Lundeen Productions. “We’re proud to bring the community together for a full day of music, patriotism, and family fun — capped off with what be the largest and most spectacular fireworks display ever presented on Duluth’s waterfront.”

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and their patriotic spirit for this rain-or-shine celebration.

The Sydney Hansen Band to perform at FourthFest.

Sydney Hansen is a Duluth, Minnesota native and Nashville-based recording artist whose sultry vocals and emotionally driven songwriting are quickly positioning her as a standout emerging voice in modern country music. She began writing original songs at just thirteen, drawing from real-life love, heartbreak, and self-discovery to craft honest, resonant storytelling. Her sound naturally blends country and Southern rock, marked by warmth, grit, and melodic instinct. After building momentum across the Upper Midwest, Hansen relocated to Nashville following the release of her single “Somebody’s Nobody. She is now a Belmont University student, full-time singer-songwriter, and collaborator with legendary producer Kent Wells. Her single “You or The Whiskey” achieved notable chart success as the #2 charting independent artist and earned multiple Josie Music Award nominations. In December 2025, Hansen signed with Get Joe Records for a record deal and management contract, working on her latest EP, Business Is Good, set to be released in early Summer, as she continues to tour and build national buzz.

Looks like other than being a little warm the weather is going to cooperate very nicely today for FourthFest!

Due to limitations beyond our control the Leap Frogs WILL NOT be able to parachute into Bayfront Festival Park during FourthFest today!

Free admission, gates open at 1:30. Come early, enjoy great music and get a good seat for the fireworks.

Duluth, MN — Get ready for a fun, family-friendly Independence Day celebration as Bayfront Festival Park hosts the annual FourthFest THIS Friday, July 4!

Gates open at 1:30 p.m., with a full day of entertainment, food, Fun, Fireworks and more. This year’s lineup features something for everyone—from emerging local talent to Minnesota’s top cover band, SSCB (Some Sh!tty Cover Band). Known for their explosive, high-energy show. Their set will ignite the stage and set the tone for an unforgettable fireworks finale.
