Looks like other than being a little warm the weather is going to cooperate very nicely today for FourthFest!

Due to limitations beyond our control the Leap Frogs WILL NOT be able to parachute into Bayfront Festival Park during FourthFest today!

Free admission, gates open at 1:30. Come early, enjoy great music and get a good seat for the fireworks.

Music, Food, Fun & Fireworks THIS Friday at Duluth’s Annual FourthFest Celebration

Duluth, MN — Get ready for a fun, family-friendly Independence Day celebration as Bayfront Festival Park hosts the annual FourthFest THIS Friday, July 4!

Gates open at 1:30 p.m., with a full day of entertainment, food, Fun, Fireworks and more. This year’s lineup features something for everyone—from emerging local talent to Minnesota’s top cover band, SSCB (Some Sh!tty Cover Band). Known for their explosive, high-energy show. Their set will ignite the stage and set the tone for an unforgettable fireworks finale.

2025 FourthFest Entertainment Lineup:

• 2:00 – 2:45 PM – The Perpetual Guests (featuring young musicians backed by professional artists, directed by Luke Perry)
• 3:00 – 3:45 PM – Jake Birdseye Band
• 4:00 – 4:45 PM – Sound Check Band
• 4:50 PM- Thomas Cawcutt, Sr-Singing the National Anthem
• 5:00 – 5:45 PM – 34th Infantry Division Red Bull Band
• 6:00 – 6:45 PM – Liberty Call Brass Band – U.S. Navy

Fighting out of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin… it’s Kevin Key! Driving The Afternoon Trainwreck straight into the ditch since 2013—and loving every second of it.

A former fighter with the memory loss (and mug) to prove it, Kevin's been proudly leading KQ’s top-rated afternoon show for over a decade. He's militantly single, a blues music purist (don’t bring up hockey), a cat guy in a dog world, and the reason ketchup on hot dogs is still a national controversy.

You can catch him spinning classic wax on Final Vinyl Saturdays at 8 a.m., or emceeing major events like HAIRBALL at Bayfront and last year’s Fourth Fest. .

Whether you love him, tolerate him, or don’t remember why you started listening in the first place… the Trainwreck rolls on every weekday afternoon.

On stage at 2PM

The Perpetual Guests is a group organized by musician Luke Perry as a way to give younger/beginning musicians a chance to get out of the lesson room and onto the stage to perform live with experienced players. Featuring Northland musicians Andy Hauswirth and Tom Berrigan, with guests on drums, guitar, vocals and saxophone. It’s a great chance to see up and coming musicians, some for the very first time!
