Hey friends, I have an ask -
2026 marks the beginning of my 38th consecutive year in the wedding industry. This old man is one of the longest tenured, still active industry vets in the country - because I still love what I do more than anything! I've spent the majority of that time building other people's companies, but for the last 10 years, I've been an independent.
Well, there is a really cool award given to the "best" in each respective service (DJ, photo, video, floral, etc) by our industry leading publication. The finalists are decided by popular vote, and the voting ends at midnight tonight.
I've never even tried to win something like this because I'm so small compared to the large companies in the industry. I serve 50 couples a year, the serve several hundred, BUT ... this is where all of you come in.
