I couldn’t let 2025 slip away without sharing each of the incredible couples who trusted me to photograph their weddings this year. From large church weddings to intimate backyard celebrations, it was my favorite year of business yet thanks to these beautiful souls! What an absolute joy it is to be a part of the best days of their life 🤍

2025, what a year!

This year stretched me in ways I didn’t even know were possible. I’ve learned so much about my capacity and the importance of boundaries… let’s just say I have a lot to work on!

I’m walking out of 2025 with gratitude, lessons learned, and a clearer vision of my roles as a wife, mom, and business owner. This means I’ll be transitioning to running my photography business *very* part time as I put my family’s needs first. I’m still booking weddings & families for 2026, but my availability will be limited. I’m excited to still be able to serve a select handful of clients while also being the wife & mom I want to be.

I’ve never seen a bride as happy and excited as Hannah was when the realization set in that she was finally Mrs. Harper 🥹

These two really are a perfect match. God gave them the most beautiful November day and they tied the knot during an outdoor ceremony at sunset 😍

Ladies and gentlemen, the photos you didn’t know you needed 😍

I stepped into this wedding day feeling like I stepped straight into Father of the Bride. After Elizabeth and Josh were wed in a small church, her parents hosted the reception at her childhood home with a beautiful view of the Mississippi. Guests were welcomed to enjoy cocktail hour with flutes of champagne and small bites to eat. Josh pulled off the sweetest surprise for his bride by bringing their dog all the way from their home in Minnesota without her knowledge… arguably the best part of the day! The band played lively music during dinner and then happy tears flowed during toasts and the first dance.

Not only was this day beautiful in every way, but these two were an absolute joy to work with. Elizabeth & Josh are a perfect compliment to each other, and some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. An absolute honor to capture their day! ✨

This one’s for my friends with small businesses. 🫶🏼 You know that sinking feeling in your stomach when you think about getting sued or not having your ducks in a row legally, just in case? I honestly haven’t had that feeling in YEARS thanks to The Legal Paige and her contract templates.

The best part? My CLIENTS love my contracts too! Why? Because they protect my clients too! My photography contracts not only help us to be on the same page by outlining the client’s expectations and responsibilities, but they also keep ME accountable, assuring the client that they will receive what they paid for.

📣 It’s SO important to me that my clients feel confident and protected when working with me. Having clear expectations is valuable as a business owner for your client experience and helps eliminate confusion all around.

Things my contacts include for my client’s peace of mind:
- How long it will take for them to receive their edited photo gallery
- What happens if I have a family emergency and can’t make it
- What happens if I have gear failure (heaven forbid) or an SD card that corrupts
- If I have the client’s consent to post their photos online or use them in my marketing
- And more!

Katina & Austin have quite the love story, and the most beautiful thing about it is that all roads led back to each other. ✨

Yesterday was so so hot but we were blessed with the most beautiful sunset for the newlyweds. From beginning to end, their day was full of the sweetest moments and I can’t wait to share more!

The way these two love each other is sweet and sincere and they truly are a perfect match. The biggest congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs! 🥂
