SHAVEE SPOTLIGHT!!!!!!

Meet our youngest shavee, Isabelle and she is 7 years old! This is Isabelle's first event with a St. Baldrick's Organization and we are very excited that she chose Loras! She decided to participate to honor her preschool (now summer camp friend Hazel) who was diagnosed with cancer. Hazel came to visit camp this summer and she was bald and Isabelle was telling me about it and some kids were kind of scared that she was bald. We talked about how brave Hazel is and you don't need hair to be beautiful. Isabelle asked if she could donate her hair so people could make wigs; however, her hair is fairly short so it would take a while to grow out for that. I reminded her of her brother participating in St. Baldrick's and what it was about and she decided she'd like to do that. We set up her page last night, joined your event, and she's already raised $145.00. Her goal is $500.00. We wish Isabelle good luck and cannot wait to help her celebrate her success in March!
