I discovered these beauties during Derek Woodruff’s class at the ISFA Floral Retreat—and let me tell you, it was love at first design.

They’re handmade right here in the USA and seriously level up any floral arrangement or plant display. Modern, classy, and just plain gorgeous.

If you ask me what my favorite part of being a florist is, my answer will always be the same—making people smile when they receive my designs.

A customer recently ordered an arrangement for someone to pick up. When I called to coordinate, she hesitated, saying she wasn’t dressed and “looked a mess.” I reassured her, “That’s perfectly fine! Just pull up to my drive-up, and you don’t even have to get out!”

When I handed her the arrangement, her face lit up. She immediately said how much she loved it, how unique it was—how it looked like art. Then she shared that she was an artist and a graphic designer.

As we chatted (because if you know me, you know I love to talk!), she began to tear up while telling me her story and why she was receiving the flowers. Then she apologized. But I told her, “Never apologize! Seeing happy tears over my designs makes my heart so full.”

Being a florist isn’t just about putting flowers in a vase. It’s my passion. It’s about creating something special, something meaningful—something that brings joy.

It’s the little details, like taking umbrella fern and transforming it into something fun and unexpected, that make all the difference. Always go the extra mile—you never know how that small touch of extra love will mean the world to someone else. 🥰

Exciting News! 🥰

I’m honored to share that I’ve joined the Board of Directors for the Illinois State Floral Association! I attended my first meeting this past weekend at the IEWR. Being part of this incredible association is a huge honor, and I’m thrilled for the opportunity to collaborate with top designers, support fellow florists, and help advance floral education.

I look forward to working alongside talented professionals and sharing my experience to strengthen our floral community. Thank you to my fellow florists, mentors, and customers—this wouldn’t be possible without you!

I’m SO excited for what’s ahead!! 🤗

Fun fact: Founded in 1905, ISFA is the oldest floral association in the country and one of the most recognized in the U.S.!

Creating custom tributes is something I hold close to my heart. For this casket spray and matching pieces, I wanted to capture the spirit of a man who loved the outdoors.
Using deer antlers, dried mushrooms, and lotus pods, I wove in natural elements that reflected his passion for hunting and nature.

Every arrangement tells a story, and my goal is always to help families see their loved one in the flowers. It’s an honor to create these one-of-a-kind tributes.
