The founder, April McLaughlin, a 5th generation Texan, recognized the beauty of the Hill Country long ago and decided it had to be shared. After spending almost 10 years looking for just the right spot, we were divinely guided to what has become known as Cricket Hill

Ranch. In 2023 we made the decision to stop hosting weddings and begin sharing our home in a different way. We now host friends and families from all over the world through our Airbnb STR platform. Cricket Hill Ranch is a perfect location to rest and retreat and find yourself again. It's our way of sharing what God has allowed us to grow since 2013. Nestled in the elegant Texas Hill Country, Cricket Hill Ranch is a charming event venue where you can make memories that will last a lifetime. Our gorgeous property includes a newly built house and a beautifully landscaped lawn, as well as more intimate spaces like our outdoor patio and terrace. We love Greek life and hosting sorority and fraternity formals. And weddings always seem to get a little bit dreamier on our acreage. No matter the occasion, we focus on giving you and your guests a stress-free environment and a place that feels like your own. Our packages always include a professional event coordinator, someone with stays with you during the process from the moment you contract us until after your celebration has come to an end. That way you can make the most of your big day and experience it to the fullest. From the cool morning breeze to the subtle chirp of the evening crickets, a day spent at Cricket Hill Ranch is one filled with the sweet spirit of Texas.
