Cold hands, warm hearts, and the very last hints of fall 🍂

Laura + Matt braved a super chilly day at Jacobsburg State Park in Wind Gap, PA, and somehow made it feel cozy, relaxed, and full of quiet joy. Laura absolutely crushed it in the cutest little sundress (in November… icon behavior), and Matt kept things easy and warm with that steady, calm presence that makes sessions feel less like photos and more like a walk with friends.

We wandered the park chasing any leftover fall color and that soft, sneaky sunlight — laughing, chatting, and getting to know each other along the way. These are my favorite kinds of sessions: unhurried, comfortable, and full of those in-between moments that just feel like you.

Anyone want to guess what I’m reading?

I picked this up and my husband immediately commented on the 835 pages, then said, “Well… I guess we won’t be talking much for a while.”

I mean….He’s not wrong 😂. I’m a complete blend of introvert and extrovert— I’m genuinely energized by being around people, learning their stories, and connecting… but I also love coming home, being quiet, and reading in absolute silence. I usually have my nose in a book.

I’m a huge Sarah J. Maas fan, and the way she builds entire worlds through detail and description creates the most vivid, dreamy images in my head — and no, not those scenes 😅. I mean the atmosphere, the emotion, the way you can practically see the world she’s describing.

That love for storytelling naturally spills into my work — noticing the little things couples choose, how they tell their own story, and seeing each wedding a little differently every time.

Sunday’s snowfall instantly brought me back to Carly & Brit’s winter wedding at Historic Old New Castle ❄️🤍
Not long ago, we had the same kind of snow-covered morning — the kind that starts off a little stressful (because…winter weather 😅), but turns into something incredibly meaningful once you decide to lean in.

Carly & Brit embraced the snow, trusted the process, and let the day unfold exactly as it was meant to. The result? A beautiful Delaware winter wedding filled with laughter, quiet moments, and that peaceful glow you only get when love wins over the chaos.

✨ Fall family love at Arsht Hall ✨
The very last bit of fall color showed off for us at University of Delaware’s Arsht Hall… and honestly? These three kiddos brought even more color and energy than the trees. 😂🍁

I’ve known Kathi and Tim for years — we met playing volleyball and instantly clicked — so getting to photograph their family as they’ve grown from maternity to “how are the kids this big already?!” will always mean the world to me.

These three kept me laughing the entire session, sprinting around with all the joy and silliness that makes photographing kids one of my favorite things! 💛📸

So grateful for friends who trust me year after year to capture their chapters.

This Mommy & Me session at Whitemarsh Memorial Park in Ambler, PA filled my heart right up. 💛
{G} was full of energy (and up for every fun idea!), so we made up little games along the way to keep her laughing and moving — and her beautiful mama matched that energy every step of the way!

The afternoon light shone perfectly against the historic stone gatehouse, part of the park’s original 1860 landscape design — the dreamiest backdrop for all their giggles, snuggles, and love.

Watching the two of them together reminded me why I adore what I do — freezing these little moments that will mean everything down the road. 💕

Rain couldn’t put a damper on this kind of joy. 🌧️💍 Their wedding day at beautiful in Fairmount Park turned out to be the coziest celebration — filled with laughter, fall colors, and so many personal touches that made it uniquely theirs. 🍂

When the skies cleared just long enough, we snuck outside between raindrops for a few portraits (and it was so worth it ✨). Rebecca even surprised Ken with a quick post-ceremony hair chop 💇‍♀️ and a stunning dress change before their tented reception!

From their DIY details — like Ken’s handcrafted “Story of Us” seating chart 📚 and the rustic haystack + apple centerpieces — to Monty, the world’s most handsome ring bearer 🐾, every detail felt intentional, cozy, and full of heart.
