Being a collector of vintage things, it’s rare to find a gem like this. Found in offer up, drove an hour super early in the morning to buy these JBL L36 Speakers with Blue grills. Everything is original and in great shape considering they’re older than me. The best thing is finding out Jeff, a pro film diver, is the original owner of the speakers. He bought these in the Philippines in 1975 from the military base in Olongapo, Subic Bay. He told me how he used to play these babies in the barracks and when he opened his first business. He flipped out when I told him I was Filipino and collected vintage JBLs. Such awesome history to go with some rare speakers.
