The Guerreos on film & digital 🎞️

I’m not joking when I say I have a million weddings I haven’t posted 🥲 If I’m being honest I have a complicated relationship with this app. I’ve shot some of my best work in the past two years and I think that’s because I’ve been focusing on capturing memories and not content. I’ve started incorporating film into my packages and I’ve grown as a photographer because of it. The pressure to stay up with trends was really getting to my head, and I can honestly focusing on the work itself offline has grown my love for what I do. These are memories for real people. When I stopped worrying about what I would post, I could put that energy back into to my clients, which is a better use of it in my opinion. So I can’t promise I’ll ever get back into posting regularly, but I can promise I’ll never stop telling love stories 🤍✨

Meagan & Travis on digital & 35mm film ✨

One thing I’ll never take for granted living on the east coast now is having a real fall 🍁 growing up in the mountains of CA the seasons went from summer to winter pretty aggressively. Then when I lived in Japan, the island we lived on was tropical year round. Seeing the leaves change and everything go golden is something I look forward to each year 🍁 and I love shooting weddings and engagement sessions during this time 🤍✨
