Dowagiac Conservation Club

Dowagiac Conservation Club Thank you for your interest in the Dowagiac Conservation Club. Established in 1947, we are proud to have over
350 junior, annual, and life members.

We are a non-profit organization and raise the money needed to maintain and
run the club through weekly Sunday morning breakfasts, fall fish fries,
3-D Archery course, pistol and rifle range, trap range and special fund raisers. These events are all worked by volunteer members and friends. This
enables the club to keep the cost of membership dues lower than most area clubs.

PUBLIC INVITED!!

6:00: pick your partner protections
$6 per man
7:30: draw partner 50 bird calcutta
$20 per man
18 & 22 yds
Prizes:
1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc (attendance based)
Lewis class
50 straight pot
$20 bounty bird
Food will be available for donation.

PISTOL AND .22 RIFLE STEEL SHOOT!

8/3/25 this Sunday!

Beginner friendly. Bring your pistols or semi auto .22 lr rifles out to the club to give our rapid fire steel course a try! We will coach ya through our course and get your feet wet in the world of speed shooting.

Details:
Registration = 12:30 - 1:00
Shoot starts @ 1:00
Bring your own pistol or rifle:
Pistol calibers: .22 lr-.45 ACP
Rifle calibers: .22lr only
Ammo: no magnum, +P, or hollow points
Bring at least 50 rounds per gun.
Eye and ear protection required
All fi****ms must be cased and unloaded upon arrival.
Cost: $10 first gun
$5 for additional guns
Course: we will be shooting 4 different stages.

Our Story

Established in 1947, Dowagiac Conservation Club today has over 300 annual, life and junior members.​

DCC is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving our youth and community by promoting outdoor sports, safety, understanding and conservation of natural resources.​

Funds to maintain our club and support our mission are raised through membership dues and volunteer driven events like Sunday breakfast buffets, all-you-can-eat fish fries, trap shoots, 3-D archery, rim fire shoots, and special events like the Wild Game Dinner, Gun Show and Hunters Rendezvous. These efforts allow us to keep our membership dues very reasonable compared to other area clubs.
