We have our first 3d shoot of the season, this Sunday, May 17th 8am-noon. A few new targets will be out on the course for this year as well. Adults $10 and kids 16 and under are FREE.

MUCC UPDATE AND INFO!

Please read:

You may have heard some conversations regarding the recent news bulletin that the MUCC (Michigan United Conservation Clubs) will be shutting down and dissolving thier organization.

THIS IS NOT REFERRING TO THE DOWAGIAC CONSERVATION CLUB!

HERE IS WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:

MUCC:
The MUCC is its own non profit organization. They consist of many of the local conservation clubs all coming together for one unified voice.
If local clubs felt strongly about laws, regulations, etc. we could express our interest to the MUCC who could then run it up the chain to state legislature and lobby to try to get things changed or set in place. This was a strong voice for outdoorsmen.

LOCAL LEVEL:
DOWAGIAC CONSERVATION CLUB
The shut down of the MUCC will not affect the clubs at the local level. We are business as usual.

STEEL SHOOT 5/3/26

This Sunday we’re hosting a rapid fire steel shoot at the pistol bunker.
Details:
Times:
Registration: 12:30
Shooting: 1:00
Requirements:
EYE/EAR PROTECTION
Calibers: pistols .22lr-.45ACP
Rifle: .22lr only
Ammo: 60 rounds per firearm minimum.
NO HOLLOW POINTS
NO MAGNUM
NO +P
Rules:
*All fi****ms must be empty and in a case seperate from the magazines.
*chamber flags mandatory!
(Ziptie will work temporarily)
*All other range and shoot rules will be addressed at safety meeting.
