Things are starting to pop at the farm! We took a season off from early spring flowers but Pop-ups and events will start soon 🌻

If you haven’t snagged a subscription yet now is the time! They will start going out in June and our subscribers always get the cream of the crop flowers first.

May will be filled with events and a weddings, but we’ll probably open up for YOU PICKS end of May or early June 💐💐💐

All about us 👩🏻‍🌾👨🏾‍🚒👧🏽👦🏻👦🏼

Hey y’all, I figured it was time to do an introduction post before the season gets going. I’m Alli, the face behind Marigolds. My background is in teaching, but when I decided to become a stay at home mama so we could open our home to foster kiddos, I always knew I wanted something that I could do with my kids in tow that would also bless our community and from that bloomed our flower farm. The farm and flower farm are both named after my brother who passed away in 2020.

We live on roughly 70 acres with my parents, and we’re about to start building our forever home 🏠 We’ve been renovating and living in a mobile home for the past two years and are so excited to break ground on our new home soon.

My husband is a firefighter in Alton 🚒 and my only employee. Weeding is his specialty 😂

We have three amazing kiddos, two of our own, and one foster son that you’ll see running around feral anytime you visit the farm. If you’ve been to the farm in past seasons youre probably very confused seeing different kids each time you come as we’ve now had 7 foster babes.

My family owns and operates Post Commons which is why you’ll always see it stocked with fresh blooms during the season ☕️🌻

The farm always has a lot going on with four horses, four dogs, too many chickens to count, two cows, and a few barn kitties. We also rent out our farm for weddings. The cool flowers are on their own now! Removed all the frost cloth just in time for the storms later this week 💨 Spring clean up is in full force 🌻

The kids are so excited to bring back their egg business this summer. Our girls are already producing the most stunning pasture raised eggies and the kids will be stocking our farmstand anytime we stock it with flowers. I know it’s still muddy and cold but flower season is coming! Our subscriptions will go live at the end of the week and it is just one of the many things we’ll have available this seasons!

This year we’re hoping to really focus on YOU PICKS because we love having yall out at the farm so please let me know in the comments what days work best for you guys!

We also plan to do a lot more pop-ups at Post Commons so be on the lookout for those 💐
