“Winds in the east, mist coming in. Like somethin’ is brewin’ and ‘bout to begin. Can’t put me finger on what lies in store, But I feel what’s to happen all happened before.”

The winds are changing a bit for me right now, and you’ll notice some changes to my hours over the next couple of weeks. I’d much rather be here talking plants and flowers with you all, but the changes require my presence elsewhere.

I have updated my hours on Google to the best of my ability and will try to put signs on the door as well. Ordering on the website is open and you’ll see at checkout what days have restrictions and which do not. I look forward to seeing you all on the other side!

What do the silk pothos, the painted dog and the pictus catfish all have in common? They all use the species name pictus, which is Latin for painted or decorated! I love taxonomy.
There is also a species of Aramus, a water fowl that has a subspecies by the same name, but I didn’t want to wade too far into the weeds on this one. 😂

Hydrangea so nice that they needed their own photo shoot. I even legit bought them from a local grower instead of stealing them from a cemetery 😂 Bravo bluebellgreenhouse

Philodendron Florida Ghost is hitting the website tomorrow. I’ve had these here for a bit, but they were in need of some tlc upon arrival. They are putting out lots of new growth and I’m super confident they are going to be your next favorite conversation starter. The new leaves unfurl as this creamy white and darken to a pretty green as they age.

As always, plants on the website are available for viewing in store!

Love me a structured design. It’s so much more fun knowing that the floral foam I’m using is compostable too.
