Bhante Sumato, a Buddhist monk who is part of the Walk for Peace across America, is also a photographer capturing the journey behind the lens. Sumato is one of 24 monks and their dog, Aloka, walking over 2,300 miles across 10 states from Fort Worth, Texas to Washington, D.C.

The monks walk in a single-file line, and Sumato walks with them while taking pictures. He has taken thousands of photos, and each one tells a unique and powerful story. He quietly captures families and children as they happily greet the monks. In the photos, families can be seen waving, crying tears of joy, and giving flowers.

While many people have taken videos and photos of the monks, seeing the walk through Sumato's perspective is truly humbling. It's a window into the true impact of their message of spreading peace and compassion.

I was reading a photographer's blog today. IPS was showing up quite a bit...so I researched the meaning. Apparently IPS is "lingo" which stands for In-Person Sales (IPS) which is not a monitor ( “In-Plane Switching” monitors, leverage liquid crystals aligned in parallel to produce rich colors) which I was hoping it really would be, but rather it is "the practice of meeting with your clients in person to show and sell your photographs, rather than simply providing them with access to an online gallery. This is not a new concept; it's the way business was done for generations before the internet."

I will create the best photographs for you, affordably and promptly with integrity and spirit. I will help you reproduce those images any way you desire. It will definitely not be an online gallery. # old fashioned # not selling you
