🚚💨 SOMEONE FORGOT TO TELL OCTOBER IT’S NOT JULY! 😂

We had to double-check the calendar on this one… because this weekend is looking more like the middle of summer than the end of October!

Almost 40 events across Kent & Sussex Counties this weekend! 🤯🎉

From backyard birthdays and Halloween parties to fall festivals, school events, and community celebrations, apparently nobody’s ready to call it quits on party season. And we’re all for it! 🎃🙌

The trucks are getting packed to the brim, the routes are mapped out, and there’s not much room left for anything but inflatables and a whole lot of coffee. ☕🚚😂

But the coolest part isn’t how many stops are on that map. It’s knowing that every one of those pins represents a celebration, a gathering, or a special day someone has been looking forward to.

And we’re grateful to be a small part of so many of them.

So if you see our trucks making their way around Lower Delaware this weekend, give us a wave! 👋 We’ve got a whole lot of fun to deliver!

☀️🎃 ONLY IN DELAWARE CAN YOU NEED SUNSCREEN AND A WINTER COAT IN THE SAME WEEK! 😂

90 degrees, 40 degrees, sunshine, downpours… at this point, we’re just waiting for it to snow while someone’s still renting a water slide. 🤷‍♂️

The last few weekends have been a little bit of everything across Kent & Sussex Counties. Halloween bounce houses, pirate adventures, obstacle courses, fall festivals, backyard birthdays, and yes… even water fun in October! 💦👻

Mother Nature hasn’t exactly made party planning easy lately, either. Some celebrations needed to be rescheduled, others had to be canceled, and we’ve been doing our best to stay flexible and roll with the changes.

And for everyone who looked at the forecast and said, “We’re partying anyway!” — well, we were right there with you. Sometimes a little soggy, but ready to go! 😂

That’s the funny thing about this time of year. You never quite know what the weekend will bring, but there’s still a whole lot of fun happening in our little corner of Delaware.

📸 A few snapshots from our recent setups. From spooky season to summer vibes, apparently we’re celebrating all four seasons at once!

🚀 TRAFFIC? WHAT TRAFFIC?! WE’RE TAKING PARTY DELIVERY TO NEW HEIGHTS! 😂

Well, we finally found a way around Route 1 traffic! 🤣

With all the talk about Tesla’s new flying technology, we figured it was time to upgrade our delivery fleet!

Imagine looking out your window and seeing your bounce house coming in for a landing. 🛸🏰

No traffic, no long driveways, no problem! Just a quick touchdown, a little setup, and your party is ready to go! 🎉

We’re still working out a few details… like how to keep the bounce houses from flying away. 😂

🍎🐷 IT’S APPLE SCRAPPLE IN BRIDGEVILLE!

If you’re from Sussex County, you know Apple Scrapple weekend is a big deal! Good food, familiar faces, and half the town running into somebody they haven’t seen in a while. 😂

We were over at RAPA Scrapple getting our tents set up for this weekend’s festivities! ⛺ Always fun being part of the preparations for one of our favorite local traditions.

A lot goes into getting Bridgeville ready for this weekend, and we’re happy to play a small part in it.

Hope everyone gets out, enjoys some scrapple, and catches up with a few familiar faces! 🍎🍂

🎃 FIRST WEEKEND OF OCTOBER! 👻

October didn’t waste any time! We already have three of our Halloween inflatables out this weekend, along with bounce houses, obstacle courses, and plenty of other setups.

It’s always fun seeing the Halloween units start popping up around town. The kids love them, and we’re glad to see families already getting outside and enjoying everything that comes with this time of year. 🎃🍂

These Halloween units are some of our most popular rentals this month, and October weekends fill quickly. If you have a party or event coming up, now’s the time to grab one while we still have some availability.

😮 THIS IS WHAT “XL” LOOKS LIKE!

Sometimes a picture says it better. Put our XL Big Bounce next to a standard bounce house and you can really see the difference. 👀

It has almost 2.5X the jumping space of a standard bounce house. More room for the kids, opposing basketball hoops, and plenty of space for the adults to jump in too. 😂🏀

We had this one out for Kenton Community Day, and it’s a great fit for events where you want something everyone can enjoy.

🍂 Block parties, community events, birthdays, Halloween, Thanksgiving… fall is a great time to GO BIG!

🎃👻 A HAUNTED ADVENTURE AWAITS! 👻🎃

There’s something about Halloween as a kid with the costumes, the excitement, the spooky decorations, candy, and those nights you wish could last just a little longer. 🧡

That’s exactly the feeling we wanted with our NEW 5-in-1 Haunted Play Castle! From the giant jack-o’-lantern entrance to the ghosts waiting inside, this thing is an entire Halloween adventure. Kids can jump, climb, slide, shoot hoops, and race through obstacles while parents get to watch those big smiles and hear the laughter that makes these celebrations worth remembering. 🎃🏰👻

And apparently, you all love it as much as we do! Most October weekends for this new unit are already booked. We still have other Halloween and fall-themed inflatables available, but these specialty units don’t sit around for long.

Halloween is only about a month away. 🍂 If you’re planning a birthday, Halloween party, fall festival, school event, or just want to give the kids an October memory they’ll talk about long after the decorations come down, now is the time to grab your date.

🇺🇸 We Will Never Forget 🇺🇸

We’re grateful to have been able to play a small part in the setup for this 9/11 Memorial Remembrance.

Today is about honoring the lives lost, remembering the heroes who answered the call, and recognizing the families and communities forever impacted by September 11, 2001.

May we always remember their courage, their sacrifice, and the unity that followed.

Never forgotten. Always honored. 🇺🇸

At Backyard Adventure Rentals, we’ve learned to always expect the unexpected. 😂 Almost every weekend, something happens that has us saying, “Well… that’s never happened before!”

Yesterday’s first delivery of the day gave us one of the cutest surprises yet. 🐶❤️

This pup was SO excited to see us that he decided our trailer was the perfect place to hang out. When his owner tried to move him along, he simply rolled over, went completely limp, and decided he was absolutely NOT moving. 😂

After a few failed attempts, his owner finally had no choice but to scoop him up and carry him back into the house like a baby. 🥹

Honestly, we’re not sure who was more excited about the delivery—the kids or this guy! 😂

Another day, another “well, that’s never happened before” moment at Backyard Adventure Rentals! 🎉🐾
