One of my favorite little projects for the start of a new year is my ‘mood board’. Flipping through the pages of magazines and catalogs to find my muse for the upcoming season is that little jump start that I need. It is an art form in its own right. Choosing images that speak to your soul, and colors that create a collection that tells a story. I highly recommend this exercise to anyone and everyone, whether you live the life of a designer, own your own small business, or simply love exploring art forms that speak to you. Finding inspiration through the images and work of others, or even the smallest of beautiful details of everyday objects can inspire.

Frostmas has come to our little flower farm and our cut flower season has come to an end. It is bittersweet. I am ready for the change of the season as Autumn truly is my ultimate favorite of all, but I will miss all of those beautiful blooms. Most of all I will miss all of you, my wonderful flower friends and customers who have supported our dreams. You are the reason that we do what we do. The joy that our flowers bring for you. The evocative and inspiring nature of a handful of blooms. It is no secret that we are passionate about flower farming, and we absolutely love that you are equally passionate too! We wanted to take a moment to thank you, from the bottom of our hearts for all that you are and all that you do. Thanks so much for joining us on this adventure, and stay tuned for fun new surprises for next season!! Thank you to and and all who support and shop our local markets. Though our season has ended, these markets still have a couple of weeks to go, so make sure to visit them! I will be. 🧡🤎💛

Autumn doesn’t have to be all orange and burgundy…..it can be ivory and blush and champagne and apricot. I found this amazing antique silver compote at a thrift store and it told me it needed autumn elegance in the form of flowers….i listened to it. What do you think?

It is officially Autumn now and we are crazy about dahlias around here. Our dahlia field is brimming with beautiful blooms!! We will be back this weekend at our favorite markets . Stop in to say hi, pick up some flowers and wonderful seasonal products from all of our local farmers and artisans, and bask in the glory of Autumn with us.
