Weekend recap! 🎈✨

This weekend was a fun mix of elegant and whimsical.

I spent part of the week in the workshop building custom backdrops from wood and foam, then Saturday brought a beautiful college graduation setup right here close to home. Think pearls, satin bows, and timeless elegance. 🤍🎓

Sunday was the complete opposite in the best way possible. Bright colors, playful details, and a whimsical axolotl-themed celebration in Temple that was packed with personality! 🩷💜🩵

Now it’s time to switch gears again as I prep for two more exciting themes: a sweet strawberry birthday and a farm-themed celebration. 🍓🚜

The less glamorous side: looking like a ginger powdered donut because you’re covered in sawdust, had 974 mini breakdowns, and starting a paint project at 12:06 AM because tomorrow isn’t going to decorate itself. 😂

But the backdrop is built.
The tears were mostly avoided.
And The Balloon Siren is back on her nonsense.

Toy Story. 🤠🦖🚀

A few years ago, I did a Toy Story party for my son’s 2nd birthday, and it was one of my favorite themes I’ve ever done. But back then, I didn’t have the tools, skills, or supplies that I have now.

And honestly? I want a do-over. 😅

I keep sketching ideas. Backdrops. Props. Custom pieces. Fun interactive details. The kind of setup that would make Andy himself stop and stare.

So… who’s planning a Toy Story birthday?
