1 Jonn 3:17 If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person
I woke up this morning to a house that has working AC. I took a shower with hot water. I checked my e-mail and text messages. I went to the kitchen and cooked breakfast. I put on clean clothes and headed to work. I drove by 8 gas stations, 10 eateries, and 2 shopping centers. On my way I listened to reports about hurricane Helena and was reminded of the flood of 2009 in Douglas County. I lost a nephew and two friends. I wanted to do something. But who do I help Florida, Valdosta, Augusta, Ashville or the many others. I thought as a community that has experienced this suffering in the past that I would challenge our community to help. I am partnering with Samaritan’s Purse who is at all these locations with a $1000 donation. There are many still that cannot do the things I did this morning. Please help with what you can.
