This is partially a business post, and partially a personal post. Sometimes, when you own a small business, the boundaries between the two blur. Most of you know that last year was a rough year fir us here at D&V, with the sudden illness and passing of my mom, who I’ve worked with most of my life, who was our main designer, and my best friend, then my and Charlie’s health issues back in February and March. I’ve struggled personally, both physically, emotionally snd mentally, to keep going, and I want to thank Kay Sutherland, Pansey Pruitt, Breann Pruitt and Caleb Pruitt for stepping up and taking care of things, keeping this place going, for the six weeks that I stayed in the hospital with mom, and mostly through Mid March, when I finally got my head out if my own butt enough to function as a human being again, all while grieving my mom in their own way. I appreciate and love guys more than you know .

As for the future of D&V Sales? It is my intention to keep it open for as long as I’m physically able, I have too much invested in it to close up and go home. But, only God knows what the future truly holds. As long as you, my loyal customers and friends need flowers, I plan to be here for you, and I thank you so much for sticking with us all these years !
