We are getting very close to opening Porter Events Plaza — really close. Even more exciting, we are getting closer to announcing a free, all-ages concert series for the amphitheater.

Having a park and an intimate amphitheater is cool — but having great content is even cooler. We have six fantastic lineups to close out the year and even more in store for 2026.

Before we make that announcement, we want to share a highlight from our first Park Concert Series event, which took place on June 18th at Solomon Park. The rain kept many away, but The Burney Sisters were exceptional. We’re confident you’ll see them back in Dothan in 2026.
