A full circle moment I didnāt know I needed. āØ
This season, I had the opportunity to work alongside my spring intern through our new partnership with ā and what a journey itās been.
From event prep and production daysā¦
to behind-the-scenes problem solvingā¦
to real conversations about what it takes to build a career (and a business) in this industryā¦
We both showed up, worked hard, learned a lot, and honestly had some fun doing it.
Mentorship means a lot to me because when I was starting out, access and opportunity werenāt always easy to come by. I know what it feels like to be eager, ambitious, and just looking for someone willing to open a door or offer real experience.
So to now be in a position where I can be that person for someone else?
Thatās something I donāt take lightly.
This partnership is bigger than one internship. Itās about creating pathways.
Itās about sharing what Iāve learnedāthe wins, the pivots, the lessonsāand helping the next generation of event professionals and creative entrepreneurs see whatās possible.
And if Iām being honestā¦ I learned something too.
Leadership isnāt just about what you build.
Itās about who you bring with you while youāre building it.
