With Love, Intention and Care ā˜ŗļøšŸ©·šŸ’āœØ

A full circle moment I didn’t know I needed. ✨

This season, I had the opportunity to work alongside my spring intern through our new partnership with — and what a journey it’s been.

From event prep and production days…
to behind-the-scenes problem solving…
to real conversations about what it takes to build a career (and a business) in this industry…

We both showed up, worked hard, learned a lot, and honestly had some fun doing it.

Mentorship means a lot to me because when I was starting out, access and opportunity weren’t always easy to come by. I know what it feels like to be eager, ambitious, and just looking for someone willing to open a door or offer real experience.

So to now be in a position where I can be that person for someone else?
That’s something I don’t take lightly.

This partnership is bigger than one internship. It’s about creating pathways.
It’s about sharing what I’ve learned—the wins, the pivots, the lessons—and helping the next generation of event professionals and creative entrepreneurs see what’s possible.

And if I’m being honest… I learned something too.

Leadership isn’t just about what you build.
It’s about who you bring with you while you’re building it.

Here’s to more mentorship, more opportunity, and more hands-on experiences that prepare the next generation for what’s ahead. Summer 2026 Loading šŸ’ŖšŸæšŸ˜ŽšŸ©·šŸ’«

Story time… šŸŽ“āœØ

Yesterday I had the opportunity to speak at Neighborhood House Charter School, and moments like that will always mean something to me.

Because it’s bigger than just ā€œcareer day.ā€

It’s about access.
It’s about exposure.
It’s about showing the next generation that there are real pathways in this industry — beyond what they’ve been told or limited to.

And if I’m being honest… it was a full circle moment.

When I was first starting out, I was just trying to get my foot in the door — looking for mentorship, opportunities, anything to gain real experience.

I was told:
ā€œYou have too much ambition… we don’t take interns who want their own business.ā€

Another time, I showed up ready, open, and willing to learn… and was left on read.

No follow up. No opportunity. Just silence.

And those moments could’ve easily made me feel like I didn’t belong in this industry.

But here’s what I’ve learned:

Not everyone in leadership is actually a leader.

Some people lead with proximity.
Some lead with titles.
Some lead with ego.

But real leaders?

They reach back.
They create access.
They open doors they once had to knock on.

And that’s the kind of leader I choose to be.

Because it’s not our job to convince people to see our value.
And it’s definitely not our job to shrink our vision to fit someone else’s limitations.

The validation is in the work.
The impact is in who you help along the way.

To the next generation — your vision is valid.
And to those in positions to give opportunities…

Who are you making space for?

Hello Hello!! We have some new folks here so let me re-introduce myself.

I’m Myesha a Boston-based experiential producer and creative strategist with over a decade of experience designing and executing community-centered events, brand activations, and cultural programming.

As the founder of Style House Events and Slushy Lady Boston, I have produced and partnered on a wide range of experiences spanning corporate activations, public events, and community initiatives — with a focus on creating environments that are engaging, memorable, and rooted in connection.

My work sits at the intersection of event production, design, program strategy and community engagement.

If you're a brand organizing a noteworthy event in 2026–2027 and need a design + strategy partner who appreciates both visual appeal and business impact, you've come to the right place.

Last week was confirmation! I had the pleasure of participating in Bunker Hill Community College Internship, Apprenticeship, and Career Center Career Fair

As one of the only Black Female Founders in the space, I left feeling fulfilled and affirmed, I'm moving in my purpose, not only as a symbol of inspiration and representation but creating opportunities and planting seeds for others growth + professional development.

As founders, we're often doing all the things, still feeling like it's not enough or going unnoticed. But the devil is a lie!

I made so many great connections with students, faculty and other employers and I look forward to what the rest of this chapter and year has in store!

It's ok to be tired. But keep building. šŸ’ŖšŸæšŸ©µšŸ‘‘āœØ

How do you know your event programming is making an impact?

When the outcomes speak for themselves.

This video wasn’t planned as a testimonial piece — yet it organically captured something powerful: teaching artists sharing, in their own words, what the BCYF program means to them. That’s how you know the experience worked. When the people at the heart of it feel seen, valued, and connected to the mission.

At STYLE HOUSE EVENTS, we don’t believe in producing events just to ā€œcheck the box.ā€ We partner with clients to develop strategy-driven programming that aligns with clear goals and delivers measurable results — whether that’s engagement, awareness, retention, or community impact.

Quick Tips from Our Approach:
āœ” Start with intent: define what success looks like beyond attendance
āœ” Design programming that supports the mission, not just the run of show
āœ” Build moments that encourage authentic interaction and storytelling
āœ” Measure impact through feedback, participation, and post-event resonance

When strategy, design, and purpose align, the result is more than an event — it’s an experience that lasts beyond the room.

If your organization is ready to move from hosting events to driving outcomes, we’d love to partner with you.

A Day in the Life of a Culture Curator + Impact Strategist ✨

This past weekend, our team had the honor of producing the BCYF Winter Showcase — a reminder that meaningful community experiences don’t just happen. They’re intentionally designed.

Behind the scenes, our work is about more than logistics or timelines. It’s about listening to communities, understanding culture, and translating vision into spaces where people feel seen, celebrated, and connected. From strategy and flow to design and guest experience, every detail is thoughtfully curated to support impact — not just attendance.

At STYLE HOUSE EVENTS, we approach every project with the belief that community-centered events are a powerful tool for connection, storytelling, and long-term change. The work we do is rooted in purpose, collaboration, and respect for the people we serve — and that’s what makes each experience meaningful.

To our partners, performers, families, and community members — thank you for trusting us with your vision.

If you’re a local brand, nonprofit, or organization looking to create experiences that go beyond surface-level engagement and truly resonate with your audience, we’d love to partner with you.

Let’s build spaces that matter.
Let’s design experiences with intention.
