Hoy a los 180 años de la gesta de independencia y creación del emblema patrio “Dios, Patria y Libertad, República Dominicana”, un 27 de febrero de 1844 dejó una huella profunda en la identidad de los dominicanos. Esos hombres y mujeres que dieron sus vidas nos dejaron un legado más allá de lo que podemos entender. Murieron porque sus conciencias les obligaron a actuar con valores incólumes para crear una nación soberana e independiente de cualquier intervención extranjera. Una nación que construyó los cimientos de una sociedad derramando su sangre para alcanzar esos nobles ideales. 🇩🇴

Eruben’s 50th Birthday Celebration. We went from the City to the Dominican Country Side. “Fiesta de Campo” we brought the nostalgia of those beautiful times, El Carrito de Frío Frío aka Yum Yum “tropical fruit icees”, La linterna de gas “gas lanterns” for when the lights go out. El Bombillo “manual light bulbs” very common on the country side til this day. Who can forget La Harina Del Negrito “cream of wheat” that our grandmother use to make us. Cafe Santo Domingo, “coffee of Santo Domingo, the fragrance of waking up early in the morning to that scent or a sweet delight in the afternoon after lunch. The pastry table with Pastelitos, Quipes, Mangu con Salami y Queso, Ponche de Mango y Chinola among many other nostalgic party favors. Who can forget The Guiro and Tambora to play live music, the Rum and Mamajuana. There will be no Dominican party without a traditional Dominican Cake. We had a great time recreating this nostalgic event for someone very deserving and special man to his wife, family and friends alike. Thank you Andrea Nuñez for trusting our vision with your event. Thank you to Imperial Event Rentals for the linens and chairs and Orvi Ballons for the Balloons and Wall.
