Hi everybody!! Just wanted to get on here and share a little bit of a life update!

✨ This summer I will be moving to Ankeny! No fear if you have already booked me for 2024, I will be traveling back home on weekends I have scheduled weddings. I have lots of adjustments and new beginnings coming my way with a new job and moving to a new city, so I am on bit of a pause on accepting new clients. I will have a few weddings this fall that will give me a good taste of what it will be like to travel back home for weddings, and see if that is something I will continue to do after 2024. I will keep everyone updated as I walk through this new chapter! I’ve worked with some incredible photographers from the Des Moines area, and look forward to connecting with them and eventually becoming a part of weddings in that area! 💍♥️

This December wedding was joy filled, capturing the essence of the season. The aesthetic brought so much warmth and cheer. The day was perfect for this sweet family of three. Blake and Kali are a match made in heaven, and Blake's daughter, Paytyn, was full of pure happiness all day long. I loved all the detail and sentimental pieces that made up the day. Hot cocoa and the kids changing into their pajamas at the reception was icing on the cake. Blake and Kali, thank you so much for having me be a part of your special day! 🤍

It was so much fun being a part of Nick and Rylee’s wedding day. The venue was the perfect fit for this couple! The groomsmen got to shoot live birds for some wedding morning fun. These first looks with Rylee’s dad and step dad were so sweet. Her step dad also married them, which was so touching. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day.

As of today, my wedding season for 2023 is over!! I spent the day yesterday with a BEAUTIFUL bride and it was the perfect way to wrap up the year.

✨ HUGE, HUGE thank you to my wonderful 2023 brides and grooms who had me be a part of their wedding days!! It was such a blessing to meet so many new people, photographers, venue owners and more! From spring weddings, to summer wedding, and fall weddings - rain or shine (literally), every wedding day was perfect. I’m so happy I took a leap of faith starting this a year and half ago!!

This year sure was busy balancing school, getting my masters, and filming / editing weddings. Looking forward to my time off before 2024 weddings come in full swing!!🎥
