Alright guys, the topwater bite is starting to get really steady on Lake Seminole. We’ve been seeing some great action lately and the fishing has been heating up.

Another great night trip on Lake Eufaula with Jackson all the way from Maine. He wanted to learn how to throw a baitcaster and understand what rods and lures work best in different situations.

It didn’t take him long to start getting the hang of it, and with more practice he’ll really have it dialed in. We had a blast catching Hybrids and Crappie with steady action through the night.

Jackson also serves in the Military and we truly appreciate his service to our country 🇺🇸

Had Peter out for a night catfish trip on Lake Seminole last night. We ended up with around 15 fish using a mix of dragging baits and anchoring up, plus a few good eating catfish for the freezer.

Even with the conditions, it turned into a really fun night with steady action. Night fishing has been a great way to stay on these fish lately.

If you’ve been thinking about getting out after dark, now’s a great time to go.

Jim and his son Charlie came down from the great state of Michigan and drove over from Destin, Florida just to fish with Captain Butch.

It was their first time fishing for largemouth bass, and they did great. Great fishermen, great people, and one heck of a day on Lake Seminole.

Call to book 850-792-9489 I was out catfishing on Lake Seminole today dragging baits and hooked into this one right off the bat. It didn’t take long at all before the rod loaded up and the fight was on. Lake Seminole continues to produce some solid catfish, and dragging baits along the bottom is a great way to find them.
