Please read. đ As many of you know, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in her early 40s. Double mastectomy, hysterectomy, chemo, radiation, tumor blockers did not keep the cancer from coming back this year as advanced bone cancer in her pelvis and spine. What I can tell you is no amount of PINK things you buy will keep you safe from breast cancer, and no amount of awareness will prevent you from getting it if you're not being proactive. My mom went regularly for her mammograms and because of the type (lobular hormone fed) they believed it had been growing for at least 10 years before they found it. For me, that made mammograms not good enough. I found Lee Val on Facebook and made a friend for life. She is an RN who understands and acknowledges the limitations of corporate medicine, and started her own Thermography business along with a lifestyle group called Leahâs Wellness Group: Health, Nutrition, Thermography & Oils. Thermography measures heat in the body, rather than relying on angles and images alone. The imaging allows you to track blood flow to unusual areas of the breast (and throughout the body if you choose a larger area scan) and it is reviewed by doctors who specialize in reading them. By choosing this option, even if you choose to do it along with your mammograms, you are able to get a clear vision of when something has a heat source that is abnormal. I encourage all of my friends to add this to their holistic medical bag. Holistic is a lifestyle, western medicine is for emergencies and we can't throw the baby out with the bath water on either end. We live in a toxic world and no amount of lavender essential oil is going to prevent something that the environment is fighting against you with.
