There has been more complaints and negative comments this year than any year that have come in posted on comments and messages and I just wanna go over a few things cause I think it will help understand what goes into the process of putting together this car parade.

We make a flyer and post about the date which has always been the 2nd Saturday in December.
We evaluate the parade route and make adjustments that are needed. We take the time to cruise it and make adjustments as well.
Then we post like crazy on social media and give the information to the local Independent Voice.
Go out and buy candy, decorations batteries.
The day day before repost about it. Charge radio, borrow generators, wash Santa suit, post about it on social media.
The day of wash truck and decorate for about 3 hours. Ad just think thats just the lead truck think about all the other vehicles.
The day after take off all the decorations off the truck and put everything back till next year.
There’s things that I left off and it doesn’t matter what matters is that this parade is a positive event for our community and it spreads holiday cheer and collects toys and food for Dixon Family Services. My boys and I don’t do this to get recognition we do it out of the kindness of our hearts just like everyone does that takes the time to show up with a vehicle decorated. I’m sorry if I messed up the route or we didn’t go by your street. We are doing a great thing for our Dixon let’s keep it going as a positive thing we all do for our community. Thank you all who took the time to decorate cars and come out and spread joy and Holiday Spirit. Thank you for those of you who were out in the cold watching because it was a cold one last night. Thank you to Tori Rae Hunt Hunts Hauling for always helping me collect food every year. Thank you Brian Guerrero for always wearing the red suit. Thank you to my son Nolan Fish for driving and decorating the truck. Thank you all for making this happen every year. Merry Christmas ♥️🎄🎅🏽💚
