After last week’s high winds, we’re happy to report that our Christmas tree is back to looking its best—full, bright, and fully lit once again! 🎄✨

Our lighted holiday display will continue to shine nightly through Sunday, January 4.

Weather and staff availability permitting, enjoy added holiday ambiance at Legacy Square with music and fireplaces on timed settings during the following evenings:
• December 22–24
• December 28–31

Mostly good news from Legacy Square! 🎄

The tree and arch are upright and being secured with extra support. Thank you to the Buildings & Grounds crew and the Dickinson Fire Department for tackling this in tough weather.

Fireplaces and music will run nightly on timers until 9PM through December 24, with more dates to come as staffing allows.

We’ll attempt to restore power to the tree on Friday and hope to have it fully lit, including the upper branches, by Monday or sooner. Updates to follow.

The bad news: Overnight gusts took a swipe at our Christmas display, this was the scene at Legacy Square Thursday morning.

The good news: Public Works will be on site shortly to straighten things out. 💪✨ We hope to share an update by this afternoon, along with cozy evening fireplace hours to enjoy throughout the holiday season. 🔥🎄

Today we’re looking back with gratitude at highlights of the 3rd Annual Christmas at Legacy Square.

Saturday’s event included the following:
- Photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus
- Vendor Marketplace
- Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

Saturday’s 3rd Annual Lighting of Legacy Square is a go! The fireplaces will be on, hot drinks will be served, and we’ll do our best to keep walkways cleared as we anticipate light snow throughout the afternoon. Legacy Square will become our snow globe. Santa arrives and the tree will light up at 5PM.

We want to take a moment to acknowledge Dean Kluver Painting and Coca Cola CCBC of Dickinson for their donation of beverages to our event. Thank you for your support.
