A little casino magic for the Queen of Their Hearts! ♥️♠️ We loved creating this surprise 80th birthday celebration for a mom who loves the casino.

Special thanks to Loretta and Michelle for trusting First Impression Events to bring her celebration to life at Lasting Impression Galleria. Happy 80th birthday, Queen Hazel! 👑❤️

14 years ago Today First Impression Events was born and honestly, it happened by accident.

For those who haven’t heard this before, I became a decorator while caring for my mom during her cancer journey… Decorating gave me something to look forward to, something beautiful to focus on when life felt heavy…It helped me escape, even if just for a moment..

One day, while one of our many in patient treatments at Henry Ford Hospital , she tricked me to leave and go register my business name. If you knew me & my mom, you know she NEVER stayed alone in the hospital, I didn’t play that… My motto was we came in together, we’re leaving together… But that day she pushed me toward my purpose…
She arranged for her favorite nurse, Angela, to stay with her after her shift and told me to leave to go downtown and officially register my business name... Now why she picked the coldest & snowy day idk lol but I’m glad she forced me to because just 2½ months later, I lost her so every event I create today carries a piece of her love, strength, and belief in me…
I thank her for that, I also want to say THANK YOU to you all as well…. Thank you for every like, share, booking, tag, referral, and word of encouragement over these 14 years… Because of your support, First Impression Events continues to grow beyond anything I imagined.

If you’ve ever supported my journey in ANY way this celebration is yours too ❤️
Drop a ❤️ below if you’ve been rocking with me, supporting my business, or watching this journey grow.

With Gratitude,
Na’Tasha
CEO & Lead designer

Just a quick clarification 💕
Even though I now own an event space, First Impression Events is still a full-service decorating & planning company.
That means:
✔ I decorate at my venue
✔ I decorate at your venue
Wherever your event is — I bring the vision ✨

We transformed this room to a whole different level for this Level 13 Video Game themed Birthday Party. The guest couldn’t believe it was the same room. 313-744-3823
