Working the Detroit Tree Lighting every year is always a joy. This year marked my 13th year of the 18th annual event. Grateful for the runners I had who helped me make sure 101 skaters made it into the ice on time.

As events and businesses get back to being open, its more important than ever to maximize your time with opportunities that produce results.

ROI is more than just analyzing how your dollars spent create a return on your investment, your time is also an investment. Returns can be in the form of monetary, social status, barters, and improved mental/physical health.

I mention this to encourage you to find great networking events that produce ROI in all of the above. I've recently attended a few events hosted by M3Linked and I found an immediate ROI. Most of the people in the room experienced immediate ROI. Events like these are truly special.

If you aren't experiencing moments like those in your business, find a way to pivot away from time wasters so you have the space & availability to add events like M3Linked.

In the planning phase for the next big phase. Just had an amazing meeting and training session with Joe DeMaria who turned me onto Joe Polish. Joe Polish's website has an outstanding podcast series on Marketing. All the artists and event planners in my network should check it out. There's something there that will register with you and help your career.

Noel Night 2018 was wonderful to work again. Luckily the venue I was working was inside at the Science Center so we were able to stay dry and enjoy the day stage managing of 2 stages filled with dancers, musicians & singer/songwriters.
