This past weekend I had the pleasure of creating draping designs for a wedding. I styled the ceremony area with elegant baroque draping, added draping to the reception entryway, and finished with soft touches of draping near the dance floor. It all came together beautifully to enhance the celebration.

✨ Draping + Fresh Florals ✨
Sometimes the simplest designs make the biggest impact! For this look, I pulled the drapes to one side and secured them in two spots. To elevate the design, I added a fresh floral arrangement with roses, carnations, and leather leaf. The result is a timeless and elegant touch that’s perfect for any upscale event.

On Saturday, we transformed the space with full room draping for a 70th birthday celebration! 🎉 Behind the head table, we designed three elegant sections featuring multiple folds and swags, with even more movement and flow to make it the focal point. The draping created a stunning backdrop, filling the room from top to bottom with soft texture and a beautiful flow. ✨ We are available to provide draping for your special events and would love to help bring your vision to life! 💫

Starting something new can feel intimidating, but if you’re just beginning your draping journey, I know exactly what you’re going through. I’m also stepping into something new—floristry! My biggest advice is to soak up as much knowledge as possible and keep practicing until it starts to feel natural. Seek out formal training too—I took a floral class earlier this year and I’m already signed up for more this fall. And remember, don’t fear failure. Every mistake is an opportunity to learn and grow. After each arrangement I create, I reflect on what I could improve and how to do better next time. Fear should never hold you back—keep moving forward with confidence in your new journey!

Today was a full and exciting day! 🌸 I started the morning shopping at the flower market and processing beautiful blooms like mums, snapdragons, hydrangeas, and lisianthus. Then, I moved on to creating elegant baroque draping using the pinching technique. To finish, I designed a romantic sweetheart table in ivory, pink, and gold, featuring a lush low fresh floral arrangement surrounded by glowing candles. ✨
