Can everyone say Game Dance? Do you know how many times kids in DL got Uncle Jumbo to do the worm move during his visit? So many times! But we were so happy to have him on our stage performaning, getting kids up and singing and dancing as a part of our Daytime Discovery Series. Check out some of the good moves teachers and students taught us all at the show yesterday.

WE HAVE A BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!
We are partnering with the Boys & Girls Club of Detroit Lakes to bring Dude Dad to the Holmes stage on Saturday, February 21st!

Taylor Calmus, AKA Dude Dad, is a Colorado based video creator who has become a viral sensation through his comedy videos. A father of 4 kids and a husband to his wife Heidi, Taylor taps into the relatability of parenthood to help parents laugh at their own struggles.

Tickets go on sale this Friday! This is an 18+ show.

We had such a fun week of outreach with Water Street Dance Milwaukee and Bridge & Wolak who were here to open our season with their performance of Tangorium. On Wednesday, WSDM held a movement workshop for local dancers in our ballroom, and on Thursday we brought dancers to perform and work with kids at Pine Point School before the show. On Friday we squeezed in some time to bring Bridge & Wolak to Waubun Ogema High School's band classes to perform some music and talk about their journey as musicians. We feel so fortunate to be able to make these connections between the artists we have on stage and the people in the community. This was an exciting way to kick off our season and we hope you will join us for more to come.
