Snow is forecasted in our service areas on Wednesday, February 12 and is expected to continue into Thursday morning, which may impact service. Our team is closely monitoring conditions, and any service delays or cancellations will be shared on our website and on our local pages.

To help ensure safe and uninterrupted service, please follow these winter weather tips: ✔️ Set carts out the night before to avoid potential delays
✔️ Clear a path around your trash and recycling carts
✔️ Use salt where carts will be placed to prevent slipping
✔️ Place carts on a flat, accessible area away from snowdrifts
✔️ Keep lids closed to prevent snow buildup and wind-blown debris

🎄 Christmas Tree Disposal Tips!

❄️ Winter is giving our Christmas trees an extra frosty touch! If your trees are covered in snow, frozen to the ground, or not easily accessible, don't worry. We'll pick them up as soon as the temperature allows us to safely remove them.

🌲 We've got some helpful disposal tips in our carousel below! Scroll through to ensure your tree can be recycled.

⌚ Don't want to wait for pickup? No worries! You can drop off your Christmas tree at any of our convenient transfer stations.

Last week, LRS participated in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)'s Safe + Sound Week! Join us in congratulating our employees who were nominated as Safety Champions and for going above and beyond to always put safety first. Our locations also participated in OSHA's Halt A Hazard challenge to identify hazards and find ways to fix them at our locations!

This week’s employee highlight is commercial driver, Eric Barrett from our New Berlin, WI location. Eric ensures that he is always in the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and is following LRS’ Rules to Live By. He always brightens everyone’s day with his outgoing personality! Outside of LRS, he enjoys riding his Harley and attending Harley functions in the Milwaukee area. Eric, thank you for all of your hard work and dedication at LRS!
