It was a great night Impact Pro Wrestling March 29th, 7PM presents the Burlington Memorial Auditorium Cup . The word historic was brought up a lot in the lead up to the show and throughout the evening. It seemed appropriate. A great crowd on hand was loud from beginning to end! We arrived to the building on word that all ringside tables were sold out. It was good omen.

Before the show fans were able to see and take home pieces of pro Wrestling history. A huge thank you to Joyce Paustian, Chris Owens, Matt’s treasures, the TNTHOF, and Latin Thunder for taking part in making Saturday’s “Mini-Fanfest” great.

Semi-Quick results -
The first two matches of the evening were the first round matches for the Burlington Riverfront Entertainment cup tournament. Casey Jax VS Dustan Mosley saw action in and out of the ring, ending with a hard fought victory for the devil dog

In the second tournament match former IPW champion AJ Smooth took on Zeke dynamics. Zeke delight of the crowd with his incredible high flying antics AJ Smooth annoyed them with his annoying antics. In the end, A Smooth was able to come up with the win.

The IPW Heavyweight Title Match was up next. IPW heavyweight champion James Jefferies defending against The Big Picture. Referee Mike Daves had his hands full throughout the match.
At one point, A Smooth tried to get involved and was thwarted by James Jefferies. James stopped grab the mic and ask Chad to get rid of the rules entirely making the match a no DQ match.
From there, it was chaos. Both wrestlers left everything in the ring. A table was brought in. A huge power slam by The Big Picture on James Through a table. Three seconds later, Impact Pro Wrestling had a NEW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION - THE BIG PICTURE!

It was a shocking moment for the Burlington

Coming out of intermission, Matty Star took an All Day Marshe Rockett. Marshe, a former NWA world tag champion, had Matty Star on defense early. Great match with Star coming up with the win.

riskee Business - Cash Cassidy & Calvin Kelly VS Corn boi & Rey De La Muerte was a fun match with contrasting styles between the two teams making for great chemistry. It ended withth Riskee Business picking up the win.

The main event was the finals of the Burlington cup tournament. In a great match of hard hitting style, AJ Smooth faced the Devil Dogg Dustan Moseley. The crowd hated AJ and was Solidly behind the victorious devil dog.

Impact Pro Wrestling would like to thank all of the great fans that showed up and brought the energy, all of the people that helped and display items for the exhibits, the great staff at Burlington Riverfront entertainment, and all of the behind-the-scenes people that make this happen.

Great times in Burlington. We can’t wait to be back.
