Please do not crosstie to stall handles or latches. It can damage the stalls. Choose a sturdier attachment point.

Good morning, Horse Exhibitors! It is Sunday, August 16.
UPDATE: We understand SODA-1 has been re-opened. As always, please check with Livestock Control (light green shirts) or staff at the parking lot for the latest information. Thank you!

SODA-1 is currently closed as the Fair does vet checks for other breeds. Please route to SODA-6 for parking. You may also try parking in SODA-2 thru SODA-5 ... those entrances are off of 32nd COURT, which is east of 32nd Street. Please be aware that the entrances and drive aisles of these lots are still very muddy from the rain from the last few days. 🌧 There are good grassy spots to park if you can get past the entrance.🛻

We received some overnight messages that the barn lights were left on. This is our first year operating without an overnight barn manager, and now that the light switches are locked behind the office door, that is an issue. We will come up with a plan going forward to have the lights dimmed.

MINIATURES MEASURING AND CHECKIN
Saturday, 15th from 2:30pm-5:30pm
1) Vet Office with your health papers. They close at 5pm.
2) Checkin at the measuring station in the Horse Barn located just to the west of stalls 505/605 (see the new barn map)
3) If you miss the Saturday check-in, we will have another check-in and measuring opportunity the next morning, but for only a 20 minute window. We will conduct that brief pre-show checkin in front of the Horse Barn Office. Both the measuring station and vet office open at 8am.

FARM TEAM - HEALTH PAPERS REMINDER

Please have your printed (not digital) health papers ready and bring them to the announcer's stand as soon as you arrive at the Outdoor Arena on Friday. A staff member will be at the stand to collect your papers. We will take them to the Vet Office for stamping on your behalf. However, the papers must be gathered no later than 7:55am so we can reach the vet office as soon as it opens for the day at 8am.

EXHIBITOR GUIDES - ALL SHOWS
Check your inbox, the links below were also emailed to you. These are new this year as we work to improve communication with our exhibitors and give you the information you need all in one place.

This is our first stab at Exhibitor Guides (replacing Show Programs). The QR codes also double as hyperlinks, so the QR codes are clickable. You will receive a printed copy of the guide with your exhibitor packet when you check in, but these are very useful to review prior to your arrival.

Your first question will be, where is the list of entries by class? We are going to provide those via the QR code immediately on the inside cover (page 2) of your guide. Those will be updated digitally daily for the most accurate list of entries by class that we can provide. The printed versions were never accurate, so we are trying this out. A printed copy will be hung outside the Horse Barn Office as well.

And feel free to comment with suggestions on anything else you think would be helpful to include for next year and of course if you see any errors! We hope these are helpful!

2026 ISF HORSE SHOW OVERALL MAP
Linked below is a map we created giving you a detailed look at what we think are the most relevant locations to our horse exhibitors. You'll find parking lots with preferred routes highlighted, barns, gates, office locations, etc. It is best viewed on a desktop or laptop given the large amount of information it contains, so review it early if you can. It does work on mobile, but is more difficult to navigate. There are layers you can turn on and off to show and hide different parts of the map. A big change from last year is the location of our new horse barn office. We have moved to the west end of Jacobson facing the center aisle. The other major change from last year is the Rock Island vehicle parking lot is renamed SODA-1. It functions the exact same, but now we have additional overflow lots named SODA 2-6 if the old Rock Island/SODA-1 is full.

Horse exhibitor specific locations including parking lots, entry gates, stalling barns, show arenas, practice arenas, exhibitor camping lot, offices, etc. Includes driving directions to certain locations as well. Use the legend to select a specific location or show/hide layers.

As you review the pre-order list and preliminary stalling charts:
Tack stalls are not listed as a separate item. Your “Number of Stalls Ordered” is exactly the total stalls we have allotted for you - please make sure the “Number of Stalls Ordered” column is sufficient for your total stalling needs.

We show the number of stalls you requested and the number of stalls you were allocated. Pay careful attention to what column you are looking at, but this year almost everyone received the number of stalls they requested.

If you are in two different shows, you must check for the correct stalls in EACH show. Stalls are reserved by the show, not by the week. The Shows are:

The deadline for prepaid bedding and feed orders is now extended to coincide with the form completion deadline of Monday, August 3. Prepaid orders will be delivered to your stalls prior to your arrival.

Belgian/Shire - Are stalled almost entirely in the Horse Barn except for two exhibitors in the Annex: O&A Belgians and Maker Farms.

Minis – Are stalled entirely in the Horse Barn. No Annex stalls.

Society – Is stalled entirely in the Horse Barn. No Annex stalls.

Percheron/Clydesdale – Is stalled across both barns, both the Horse Barn and the Annex.
