Leaning on my FB peeps for some help finding the right person. We are in need of a skilled mechanic/tech. We would prefer diesel experience, however, a good mechanic with the ability to learn would be worth an interview. Will pay $28-35/hr plus OT and full benefits. Potential to relocate to Kansas City is also an option. If you know anyone that is living in the Des Moines metro and is itching for a new gig, have them reach out to me via DM. We are looking to hire motivated bus drivers who want to make great money and be valued for the work they do! Luxxor works with a fortune 100 company to provide local shuttle service on a large private facility. Previous bus drivers work well - any professional driver is a plus.

Shifts Available:
• Morning 5:00 AM - 11:15 AM
• Afternoon 11:15 AM - 6:15 PM
• All Day 5:00 AM – 6:15 PM

Shuttle runs Monday – Saturday with occasional Sundays. You will be able to work as many or few hours per week as you want and up to 6 days. Because of the downtime (breaks), DOT restrictions are not generally a concern.

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license (we can train to obtain a CDL - having a CDL is a plus)
• Responsible
• Punctual
• Honest
• Fairly Clean MVR (motor vehicle report)

Additional Qualifications (not required):

• Professional Driving Experience
• Class A, B, C CDL
• Passenger Endorsement
• Air brakes restriction lifted

Luxxor Limousines is looking for a Senior Diesel Technician to maintain our fleet of vehicles

2+ years experience required

**Pay is based on proven experience and references.

Main responsibilities include:

-Perform preventative routine maintenance on fleet vehicles, gas and diesel.

-Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical and all components to help make the fleet run efficiently

-Coordinate and manage outsourcing of specific mechanical functions or operations.

Qualifications

-Strong problem solving skills and good mechanical aptitude.

-Graduation from High School or GED equivalent.

-Skill in operation of tools and equipment.

-Knowledge of automotive mechanics and diesel mechanics.

-Possession of a valid Iowa drivers license with a Class A CDL or with the ability to obtain a Class A within six (6) months from date of hire.

-ASE certification preferred but not required.
