Every couple of years I get the honor of capturing / birthday photos. She’s already a talented photographer, but every few years she promises her clients that she’ll be on the other side of a camera so that she can be reminded of how it feels to have the camera pointed at her. The nerves. The anxiety. The awkwardness. It’s a brilliant idea that I need to follow suit on.

Have you ever sat around and thought about how privileged you are to know certain people? I do…. Often. and more specifically gathers incredibly deserving female twice a year for a week long of learning to snowboard.

Along with snowboarding, there’s a ton of growth, laughter, tears and healing that take place. Every clinic I’m blown away at the sacrifices these women have made/continue to make for their country and families.

So blessed and thankful that I have the honor to be a small part of such an incredible experience.
