Meet Sorin — originally from Romania, he came to the U.S. with a degree in engineering but soon discovered his true passion lay in hospitality and food. While traveling and working across America, he found purpose and inspiration in the vibrant world of fine dining. After years of dedication in the industry, he felt a calling to share the rich flavors and traditions of his Romanian roots with the Denver community. With the support and vision of his wife, what began as a dream has now come to life through their shared passion and hard work.

Today marks our one year wedding anniversary. We never could have imagined that so much of our shared dream together is coming true! 🍽️ Meet Alexandra – Co-Owner of The Balkan European Food Truck

Hi, I’m Alexandra – a former preschool teacher turned full-time food truck dreamer!

After years of nurturing little ones in the classroom, I decided to follow a different kind of passion: bringing people together through food that tells a story. Inspired by my love of experiencing new cultures and my husbands Eastern European roots, we launched The Balkan European – Denver’s first and only food truck serving traditional langos, charcuterie-inspired bites, and kid-friendly options that make the whole family smile.

This truck is more than a kitchen on wheels – it’s a celebration of culture, connection, and community. Everything we serve is made with heart, from scratch, and with a little bit of nostalgia in every bite.

I’m so grateful you’re here. Thanks for being part of the journey – and welcome to the table!
