Some volunteers give their time. Joe and John have given us a lifetime of loyalty, wisdom, and dedication.

Both in their 90s, these two longtime volunteers still show up every day to help get ready for the Feast. Rain or shine, even when the temperature climbs past 100 degrees, you can count on Joe and John to be there, working, helping, sharing their knowledge, and reminding the rest of us how things are supposed to be done.

You’ll often find Joe standing on his beloved milk crate, making sure the lights are installed just right. At 90-something, apparently a ladder is optional when you have a trusty milk crate!

And then there’s John. He may not always be the first person you’d describe as a “ray of sunshine” , but there is absolutely no questioning his dedication. When John commits to something he is loyal to a fault.

That really describes both of these men. Loyal to the Feast. Loyal to the people around them. Loyal to traditions they’ve helped carry forward year after year.

We are incredibly fortunate to have Joe and John still showing up, lending a hand, sharing a story (or an opinion!), and passing along decades of wisdom.

Joe and John, thank you for everything you have done, and continue to do. The Feast simply wouldn’t be the same without you.

Another amazing volunteer we are so thankful for, Larry Holloway!

Larry works hard every single day to make sure we're ready to roll. No matter the task, he always has a smile on his face and the patience to help wherever he's needed. His dedication, positive attitude, and willingness to pitch in make a huge difference, and we truly appreciate everything he does.

Thank you, Larry, for all you do to help make our Feast a success!

A successful Feast doesn't just happen, it takes countless hours, a lot of hard work, and an incredible team of dedicated volunteers.

Leading the way is Jerry Rogers! He always knows exactly where everything belongs, keeps things running smoothly, and somehow makes the impossible look easy. His leadership, organization, and willingness to jump in wherever needed are a huge part of what makes our Feast a success.

We truly couldn't do it without him... and we definitely wouldn't want to! Thank you, Jerry, for everything you do. We appreciate you more than words can say!
